I downloaded a few last night without a problem...
It's working fine for me with AO3, haven't used it with FF.net in a while though.
Loopy. What do you mean you've read the never never book? Ahhhhhhh
and is it a bad cliffhanger?
I don't think all FF will be pulled only if an author asked for it to be....I don't understand your point in regards to 'want to read' verses 'read' What I do is if I've read something from my 'to be read shelf' I just change the shelf to 'read' and it shows up on the read shelf and gets tallied to the final year end count
The GR app doesn't do that for me.There are columns for sorting:Date ReadDate AddedTitleAuthorEtc.The content of my "Date Read" is only those i had previously marked as "to be read" and then changed to "read"The content of my "Date Added" is the complete listing of my read books. And it darned well confounds me Where is the logic?! This affects my "stats", saying i only read 7 books in 2014.Demaris, Didn't you say you read close to 200 books in 2014 but the "year in summary" of GR said you read less than 100. Believe the above is the reason why. They don't "count" a book in your "read" stats if you hadn't marked it first as "to be read". Though the number of books in your read bookshelf does include all the books you've marked as read.Checked the website, doesn't seem to have the sorting option as in the app. Thus, my read bookshelf is correct/matches the "Date Added" sorting in the app. But the website stats also shows the wrong number of 7 books read for me. One of these days, i will export my bookshelf to an excel file and count how many i actually read in 2014.
Really? They sent me a email ( which I'm looking at as I type) that says I read 143 last year? Which surprised me, as I had no idea!
Or is it you were setting a goal of 200 for 2015? My memory sucks!Just hate my stat summary of 7 for 2014!!! Promptly deleted that GR email i got, pissed me off NB:Ok, couldn't stand not knowing so used the GR website and sorted my read books to list 50 per page. I had a total of 6 pages of "read". I deducted those 4 i read in 2015 on page 1 and the 28 in 2013 on page 6. My final total was 268! Yipee! Therefore, demaris, you probably read 600 or more books in 2014 without realizing it because you are by far the fastest reader among us, with no flounce gene. I noticed in the GR website that all my read books have "not set" fir each book under the column "date read". It therefore doesn't automatically use the "date added" date. My 7 books in 2014 had a value for "date read", most likely the date i changed it's status from "to read" to "read". When i have the time or energy, i will choose "batch edit" and set the damn date for that darned "date read" column. Ahhh, mystery solved, logic has been restored. Now i can go to sleep peacefully.
Booked, I love ya honey but I still have no idea what the hell you're on about!
I think she stalked Hoover until she gave in and gave Loopy a ARC What?! No! I thought it was a stand alone?! Jesus Christ, like I need another series to add to by list.....
OCD is a bitch, i tell you.Bottomline, double check your stats in GR by checking if all your books have a date listed under "date read". I do not believe i read 268 books and you only read 143. Picture explanation:The only 7 books GR said i read for the whole of 2014. Note column for "date read" has an actual date indicated. This was the date i marked it as "read", previously marked as "to read"Some of the books i added as read but had no date indicated under "date read" column. I never first tagged them as "to read"Books without an actual date under "date read" aren't counted in my dismal stats. Above pics shows total books i read is 939, stat show i read only 60 in 3 years Amen.
It did start as a standalone but now it's going to be a series, that's why they cancelled the pre-order of it.They were still also making edits/changes to it a couple of weeks before Christmas.
Is anyone else having problems posting with Tapatalk? I keep trying to post replies and it "eats" most of it, meaning I have to try and edit my post or reply again. It doesn't matter if I use my phone (android), my iPod or iPads it's still does the same thing. It's driving me slightly nuts.
I'm rather pissed as now I'm going to have to wait until the series is finished before I read Never Never...I was looking forward to starting it next week. I've not used it today; I'm 'working from home' so no need to cover up my PTS usage
This was also marked complete today. I guess it's nowhere near as popular as Rain Must Fall, but if anyone cares. The Cutting EdgeBy: savannavansmutsmut Bella's life had been hard for years after her parents' death, but she managed to pull it together, graduate and get through cosmetology school in order to support herself. Now that I've started and finished Never Never last night (brilliant 4.5* read from CoHo and Tarryn ).I decided to start ACAP today while all the family have been around for Dior's b'day and I gotta say a mahoosive THANKS to Ella for rec'ing it, I'm only 7 chapters in and I'm really enjoying it so far and on the plus side it doesn't read too much like a vamp-fic.

Yeah, I wanted more scary vampires to the rescue. But she kept them to canon as far as "keep the silence at all costs".Glad you are liking it. It definitely is angsty.

Must have been a glitch. It seems to be working again.
The only way I know is to download them singly to your PC. Two ways to do it. Put Kindle for PCs on your computer, sign in with the old account and download them from the cloud. Or from the Amazon Digital Content page, download each to your computer by right-clicking on the story and choose send to Kindle by USB. Since there should be no DRM, the should just download fine. If anyone knows a better way, I would really love to know.
