Those would be fine gifts. I also like high-fives. :P

Not sure I want to know what "MFHD" means, but I'll try to rustle up some decent Rob O faces. (Especially since someone refuses to youtube them for us. :D)

I'm 4 foot 9, so even Alice is taller than me. (Swear to God! Check the Guide.) I hail from a small town in Nebraska that has no bookstores or strip clubs, but plenty of farmers and Levi jeans. If it wasn't dark outside, I could see our goats frolicking and fainting- yes, literally screaming and keeling over- in our pasture and there are baby chickens living in my garage. In conclusion, my debit card is very familiar with Amazon and the UPS people could find my house blindfolded in a snow storm. (Provided one of our crazy-ass birds/pets didn't maul them first.)
:'( * Hands over "perfectly petite princess" Tiara.  :king: *sniff* Wear it with pride my fellow pixie.

I'm not fan of Cougerella too, or doughter of best friends or some other strange cross! Expecially when they're young!  :o

Ok I have to say this...I don't know if it is an Italian thing...but sometimes i read stories when the protagonists (expecially Bella) are 21 or 22 and they already have a career and are in a relationship with a 30 year or something old...being myself in early 20 it's impossible for me to image a reality like this...here at that age you still go to university! (Things are really like this in your countries? )
So I'll just think that the protagonists are 26 or something...I don't know if I've explained myself!  :P

Typically here in the US We start university at 18 and graduate at 21 unless we go to Grad school or plan to go into a profession that requires specialist education degrees. I guess it isn't too unrealistic for characters to have a career at 22.

I saw an  interview last night on nighline about Stephanie Meyer ... Aparently she only let her kids watch the first twilight movie because she thought the others were 'too sensual' excuse me did I miss the sensual parts while I was fast-fowarding?

She probably just didn't want her kids to see the hatchet job the movies did to her books!

Questions:

1)Is "Customsward" an Edward who works in customs? Does he seize Bella's international shipment of homemade pin ups and decide to bang her?

After being blamed - again - for being pervy, I needed a factual historic record to explain the "birth" of Customsward:

Well, I was sorta half-right. :D

Is whatever remains of the actual BaTB uploaded somewhere? I'm a curious kitty.

P.S. I still think I'm writing Bella and the Beast: The Non-Disney-Sanctioned-Smutfest  someday.

Buried Amongst the Begonias is here: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Ella/Ficfangirl - this might just be my OCD talking, but I noticed that the post with the link has the subject line "Buried Among the Begonias" when the title is actually Buried Amongst the Begonias. Would that make it more difficult for people searching for it (if they don't know the author for the Index)?

I so want that dog, but I think I have too many pets as it is.  ;D
I wonder if it's a b*tch - coz if it is she needs to move her paw a few inches north.  ;) :D

Did you all notice that when I posted that pic, I didn't make any comments about b!tches, bones or doggy style?

I should get major props for being so mature!

The day we get Customsward we'll all probably implode from the excitement before we can read it anyway :D

Maybe that's why SavvyB's in hiding!!!

Or, she's concerned that there might be a shamwow shortage!  :sign0137:

Does anyone here actually know anything about working for Customs? Cause I would need cliff notes on everything but the sex. :D Sam = Does Not Get Out Much.

Customs is very different in every country. Do you all have shows like Border Security?

Australia has really strict customs coming into the country. You have to declare any food and if it's open or not packaged properly, or just a little suspicious, they take it and "destroy" it (or take it out the back and eat it themselves!) We have enough nasty creatures here - we don't need any more!  ;) Actually, it's more about protecting our native flora and fauna and keeping out diseases like rabies. Oh, and drugs - they don't like drugs coming in to the country!

In my experience, we are just as strict with security, but not as scary as other countries. Bali was really scary - men with machine guns walking around the airport, and Heathrow was pretty strict - my sister left her bags with me while she went to the bathroom. There was an empty seat between me and her bags. She was gone for about a minute before I was being questioned about the "unattended" bags! Then when we left, I was frisked - I think it was this comment that prompted the creation of Customsward.

Also, do you think the Volturi would have people frisked if they came in through the front door rather than holes in the street? Wait! Where's my Guide? I don't think they have a front door....

I'm having a twific vs the original moment, but in New Moon, when E/B/A are leaving the Volturi, don't they sit in a fancy foyer for a while and then leave out the main entrance? And the tourist group brought in for the Volturi meal? Don't they think they are on a castle tour, so they wouldn't have entered through manholes?

Yeah it's just a head cold, but horribly draining. And of course hubby had to take it too, and get it ten time worse, meaning I can't even get the benefits of being sick and taken care of.

I think personally I find them awkward to read because people do the whole 'cougar' stereotype and I find it so awkward. I can't remember who it was, but someone released an O/S a while ago with an older Bella and a famous Edward. That one I enjoyed, purely because it didn't have that ridiculous man-eater older woman stereotype going on.

I hate the term "cougar" because of the stereotype, but I'll read a fic with an older Bella if she is not too desperate - that desperate man-eater thing is horrible in real life and just as bad in a fic.

That's why I couldn't bring myself to watch Magic Mike in the cinemas - I'd heard stories of women squealing and carrying on like dogs on heat!

A Downright Disgrace by velvetglo is an Olderella fic that 's not too bad - it's a Bella/Jake fic though.

I was listening to a discussion on the radio about age gaps in relationships and was surprised to find myself agreeing with the people who called in saying they could handle an older man/younger woman scenario better than an older woman/younger man thing

My reasoning was simple - men can have children into their 90's so if they have a younger wife, neither misses out on parenthood. But if you have a younger man with an older woman, her breeding years might be over and he will miss out on the opportunity to have children.

I must have been thinking about this quite a bit in my subconscious, now that I'm 40, but I was still really surprised when this reasoning popped into my head.

I don't mind as long as they don't have kids the same age. There is one where Alice is Bella best friend and Edwards daughter. I'd kill my dad if he dated my best friend. Or my mom.

Sounds like Relative Wind by Mac214
Summary: The Mougar cometh! A steamy day at the drop zone turns into more than Bella bargains for when she meets her new roommate's father. A tale of May-December relationships, father-daughter dynamics, and the happiest hooha in Philadelphia. Very citrusy. AH.

Good fic!

I had to get over the whole cougar-phobia since I'm a cougar with respect to Rob Pattinson (and I know I'm not alone).  I've only read two cougarella stories - Beyond Inappropriate and Cougar Town - and I enjoyed both of them.  Now, these youngsters might not enjoy them since they're not lusting after someone much younger than them.....yet.

Not alone! Definitely not alone!

You seriously have fainting goats? Farmers in levis is hot, but those fainting goats are awesome!

I would never get anything done if I had fainting goats in my yard!

I finished high school at 16 and had finished my teaching degree at 19.

However...I was broke, had no job and certainly had no 30 year old sexy bazillionaire boyfriend!

It's fic - probably written by kids who think that 21 is old and 30 is just ancient.

Here in Oz, you might be finished uni and be working, but I wouldn't say that they would have a career - a career, to me, means that they are established and committed, not just starting out. It's probably just how I define it though.

Oh crap! I'm talking to myself again!  :-[

My Hard Drive is begging me to stay away from that index. "No, I'm too full..." it whines. I am ignoring it

Give in, Give in  :D  :D

That story would go like this:

(Narrator Voice Over}
"Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young Prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired...."

{Enter Bella and SexyBeastward }

 >:D  Liking it already  :-*
