Afternoon all, I hope everyone had a good holiday!

I've been on a little fic break, so nothing good to talk about on the fic front. I read the two most recent JR Ward BDB books, then the latest Shelly Laurenston book, she's always good for a lot of laughs, and last night I found out pre-order people got the new Cut & Run book by Abigail Roux, and ended up reading all damn night, LOVE that series, but it's m/m. Probably one of my favorite couples ever though.

This is why I shouldn't read while watching TV - I saw "Laurenston" and for some crazy reason, I thought for a moment that our Lauren must have written a fic about SAF. For a second, I did wonder what the heck had gone on last night while I was asleep!

The book is not for sale on Amazon, right ? I looked for it but didn't find it. I enjoyed her stuff too, but I think 20 dlls is way to much for an author that is basically unknown outside of the fandom. I mean really my HG trillogy was 16 dlls !!

No. I think it's available for pre-order and it sounds like you can get signed copies if you go through her ff page. The official release date is April 11th.

I just want to put it on record that I bloody hate the weather in this country.
I knew I would come down with something once I was on holiday.

I am trying Astro's Vicks tip tonight. Unfortunately, without the Bundaberg.

They are telling me to put Vick on boiling water and inhale the vapor. But I'm breathing fine. Nothing is obstructed.

Edit: I did turn my shower on with the water really hot and inhaled the steam. It didn't help. I'm just feeling hot want longing for my ac.

It's probably to help clear your sinuses. That's what my problem is at the moment along with a seriously sore throat. Blocked sinuses cause horrible headaches similar to migraines.

Anything is worth a try if you are in pain.

Sinus doesn't always mean your nose it blocked - it can be inflammation in any of your sinus cavities - cheeks, ears, forehead.

I had such bad sinus once (pre contact lenses) that I couldn't stand wearing my glasses - the weight on my cheeks drove me insane, but I didn't even have as much as a sniffle!

At the moment, I want to open up my head and just give it all a good scratch! With all the wet weather we had at the start of the year, all the plants decided that it was spring, so we had a very early bloom. Our golden wattle is stunning, but it shouldn't blossom until August and everyone I know is crazy with allergies!

Just so long as you all keep your filthy germs to yourselves!

I was a germ magnet a couple of years ago - if someone even coughed in my general direction, I'd be down with a chest infection or cold within 24 hours! It has taken me 2 years to rebuild my immune system - not an easy task when you work with snotty children!

I bloody did! I will continue to believe this, as no-one I've come into contact with over the past week had a cold and I make it a habit not to touch people's hands so nothing got through there. Your germs were so strong they travelled across the internet

I've begun to read Impact, though I'm skimming all the medical jargon (no-one tell me neuropsych professor!) as it does read like a Wiki article at points. Goodness knows when I'll actually finish it considering how long it is. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login is next on my TBR list, and I'm looking forward to it. I'll probably end up reading this before I ever finish Impact, purely because it's so long
