Hey Ladies,

Ok, So I have started reading Caged.  I am not sure if it is just me or what but I just can't seem to get into the story.  I am up to the part were Edward just started to meet Bella at her job at night so she does not have to walk home alone.  But that is as far as I can get.  Does it get better is it worth finishing??

Bear with it, it definitely gets better and I thought it was good, and as far as Savage goes it was fairly tame.

Tragedy strikes neurologist and paraplegic Edward, but instead of finding only pain in the hospital, he meets a beauty from his past who has suffered just as much. Sometimes hurting and healing walk hand in hand, and the impact continues. : AH

Yes, you will want to read them.
About Caged...I don't know how I feel about that one... Nothing exciting happens.

Yeah I am sensing that. I am torn.  :'(

It IS long, and at times very technical. Sometimes the lovestory is in the background too much, sometimes it's like a paper about living with disabilities. But I liked it. All characters developed during the story, no clichées. It's obvious that the author cares about the topic and knows exactly what she is writing about. There are no boundaries, nothing is hidden. You get the exact description how Edward has to catheter himself for example or how to make love when the man has no feelings down there and the woman must not be overexercised. But everything is written with the utmost respect and care.

This I totally get.  I love the characters in the first story.  You have your happy ending.  Then there's the sequel.  You know something bad is going to happen.  As long as the main characters stay together, all will be good.  But what if they don't? I can't go through another break up /get together.

It is a dilemma.  I haven't read that series yet.  You will have to let me know if I want to LOL!  ;)

okok! ahaha
I tell you to start blood and glory which is the firts one...really well written! :)
I'll let you know about the second chapter ;)

As for caged...ok I have to confess that stopped reading the story...If I remember corrctly too much happen in too little time right?
I prefer something slower...maybe I'll give it a try in the future...only when I'll finish my list that has become really long!

I've started it too....this is the opposite of what I felt for caged... the story timeline is too long!
I don't like really fast but neither this slow! Today while going through my list of fictions I've deleted it!

Nope. Not very painful at all. But, I'm going to have to ramp up my fangirling & fic reading to keep up with y'all.

Hey Elliemae!
Good for you - I hope that wasn't too painful!

Imagine how upset you'd be if you thought you saw Rob and it turned out to be notRob!

We had a notEdward and a notJacob on The Voice last year in Australia - I had been thinking it about the Rob lookalike (and soundalike) for a few weeks and then Joel Madden made a comment about it being a Twilight battle - the tweens went wild!

And for anyone playing at home - Edward won this battle too! (But not the war - he got booted for being too moody and boring.)

I think these people really think it's him! But, what's funny to me is that these guys are going along with it. I guess it is a MAJOR compliment, so why not play along, right?

Hello :)

Ok some people do look like RP! But some don't. I mean do people say they met RP as a joke or do they really think they met him? :D

Yeah, loving the hair too. A wrinkled blue polo never looked so good.

I've reblogged quite a few of their posts before, I can't believe how gullible some people are! I'm not even sure some of them are men, let alone looking anything like Rob. Speaking of which, update:

How he manages to look so sexy from the strangest angles is beyond me. I actually really love his hair, I thought I'd hate it.

Welcome. We don't bite. Normally.  >:D >:D

That's good to hear. My 17 month old bites me enough. I'll think he's going to give me a sweet hug, & then I get a big bite on the shoulder!

Afternoon all, I hope everyone had a good holiday!

I've been on a little fic break, so nothing good to talk about on the fic front. I read the two most recent JR Ward BDB books, then the latest Shelly Laurenston book, she's always good for a lot of laughs, and last night I found out pre-order people got the new Cut & Run book by Abigail Roux, and ended up reading all damn night, LOVE that series, but it's m/m. Probably one of my favorite couples ever though.

I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello. I'm still in N.C. visiting with my in-laws for spring break and I just saw that it will be quite a while before I'm caught up on here.  :57:  I'm actually looking forward to it though because it always makes me happy to read what you ladies have to say.  :-*  I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Right now when I have a few minutes to myself I'm reading    Try by Shellshock81  It's really good and I would totally rec it. It's light angst, has some great humor and it also has some fantastic lemons.    :13:

I just finished - as in, I woke up at 6:00am (why do I always wake up bright-eyed and bushy tailed on days when I can actually sleep in?), and read it for an hour and a half.

I did enjoy Caged, but it wasn't one of Savage's best - still better than a lot of other fics, but it was a struggle to get into, and the end dragged a little too. It is a good read, and definitely worth finishing. Once I got into it, I was hooked but the resolution dragged on just a tad too long.

Stick with it.

I don't know but, I am looking forward to reading it.  I enjoyed all of her fics and loved the sense of humour in them.

I say good luck to her, she is still updating even though she is about to be published.
