Ok, I don't know how to take that!!

We have Hungarian friends - they are definitely hot-blooded!

But also very loyal and generous.

My family also fights, and we can't blame any exotic bloodlines, so we just blame my father and his big mouth!  :P

My mum has just started trying to trace back her family on ancestry.com

She rang me a few weeks ago, so excited because she thought that she had discovered that her grandparents had their first (of 24!) children out of wedlock!

She was most upset the next day when she came across their marriage licence and they had been married for almost a year when he was born.  :D

Australian history seems so boring compared to the rest of the world - no wars, no uprisings or revolutions. Just a few boatloads of convicts from the UK, and then we welcomed every other nationality with open arms.

Sort of - I might be sugar coating that just a tad!

Our Aboriginal history is fascinating though - and one of the oldest in the world, therefore it is not well documented.

Let me just say that Ancestry.com is a bunch of crap!!!

Ehh, I really don't know anything from Hungary!! For some reason the school system here in the US seems to think only Hitler is Important, I swear I've studied more about WWII than anything else. I moved a lot during HS and every school I was I learned about him!!

Its always our fathers! I'd say mine is to blame about 99.5% of our arguments  :D

Really? Did they tell you that he is dead?
My English teacher once took part in a teacher exchange and when he went to a highschool in the US the first question the highschool seniors (!) asked him was what Hitler was doing these days...  :-\

My family doesn't have that much history, but I can shock my kids with stories about growing up in the GDR... for example we didn't have a phone till I was 14... and we survived! ;)

My 11yo son definitely doesn't. And he will never know, never!  :P
Ah well, he's a nerd (geek? dork? what's the difference?), so I won't get grandkids till he's 40...

Wow - I've only been gone a couple of hours.

I noticed it was up to page 69 when I logged on and was wondering who would get there first - let's just say I'm not surprised!   :D

Ok - maybe my inner 11 yo boy is actually 13.

Actually, I have taught 8 year olds that giggle if they hear the number 69. But I have also taught 13 year olds that giggle if you say "number 2".

Kids are so darn frustrating! Why can't they just play with their barbies and lego and remain pure! I blame the parents, the parents blame the school. Usually it's a big brother or sister!

And now that I've insulted hungarians and parents all over the world, I'll say goodnight! :-*

I love hearing about all of the different traditions that each culture has.

When I was in Barcelona, we decided to have an early night after a huge day of sightseeing. We woke up the next morning to find that we had completely missed Epiphany. I still have no idea what that is, but it looked like a great party - there was confetti all over the streets and there was no public transport or shops open.

I never knew that Greece celebrated Easter at a different time - I always thought that Easter was celebrated at the same time by all Christians! See how educational PTS is!

 :iagree:
I thought it too...

Talking about different traditions and cultures...can you write me the recipe of cookies and pancackes? :)

Just a little reminder that in Greece (and Europe in general, if I'm not terribly mistaken) you are officially an adult once you've turned 18. That was a CRAZY party that lasted an entire weekend. It left me with a huge hand-over and completelly broke for the rest of the month :P So 21 isn't suck a big deal. At least there was cake ;)

The Florence trip is going to last just for 4 days, but with some luck I will be able to save money and have a great summer.

As about tattoos I already have a little cat under my other ear. I hurts like hell (not gonna lie, I'm so afraid of niddles and pain :P) but I can easily hide it with my hair.

Yup! legally adult at 18!
4 days will be enough for visiting Florence, remember to visit the Uffizzi, and if you don't suffer height go upon the Brunelleschi cupola!

I know a few of you have been talking about The Other Side of the Fence - so I thought I'd start it when I got home from work this morning before going to bed - stupid idea as a hour and 100+ pages later, I didn't want to stop reading it.
By the end of the 1st page I was sucked in (and in a good way  :P) and that rarely happens.
I'm totally crushing on Fenceward.  ^-^
And yes, I was crying like a baby when they first met and I love the fact that

Ahahah right!!! But here spring has started...maybe next winter!  :P

I've finished Blood & Glory...Now I have to start the second story of the saga...but here is my dilemma: I've read the summary, and I'm afraid something bad will appen and I really like the point that the story has reach...and at the moment I don't have the courage to read... you know what I mean?! ahaha I know it's not nomal!  :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
This I totally get.  I love the characters in the first story.  You have your happy ending.  Then there's the sequel.  You know something bad is going to happen.  As long as the main characters stay together, all will be good.  But what if they don't? I can't go through another break up /get together.

It is a dilemma.  I haven't read that series yet.  You will have to let me know if I want to LOL!  ;)

Hey Ladies,

Ok, So I have started reading Caged.  I am not sure if it is just me or what but I just can't seem to get into the story.  I am up to the part were Edward just started to meet Bella at her job at night so she does not have to walk home alone.  But that is as far as I can get.  Does it get better is it worth finishing??
