Does anyone know if "Times NEw Roman" by kathi-rindhoops was completed before pulled? Does anyone have a complete pdf? I can only find the first 13 chapters and I am deserpate to get the whole story.

Another fic added to the list!!!

I've started Heirs and Heirlooms....and I've put it aside..It's not deleted from my list, I don't know maybe I was expecting more after reading the summary...so I decided to start The practicum....It's simply AMAZING! I love this Edward!! I'm sad it's already finished!

I finished The Practicum last night and it was reallly good. I was sorry when it ended. TheFicChick always writes so well. Add it to the top of your TBR!

Great fic, but a WIP, no matter how it's marked. Drove me mad too...

Yes, this one! I was seriously pulling my hair out last night when I started getting near the end. I knew there was no way it was going to finish, but it's marked complete, with an a/n at the end of more to come.

Hell, it's getting so that now, I have to check the end to see if either the author forgot to mark it complete, or if the author forgot to actually finish the damn story before marking complete!

You'll have to let me know how this one goes. I started reading Scout's Honor as a WIP but stopped after about 5 chapters. It started out so sweet but, I thought, it quickly went downhill. To me, the girls were so conniving and it seemed unrealistic. Does it get better?

I just saw an ad for The Following - coming soon here, but I see it has been broadcast in the US since January.

Has anyone watched it? Is it any good?

I see Kevin Bacon and immediately think "Must Watch" but this doesn't look like Footloose!

Also, OMG i just figured out last night that when you are importing with the FanFic plug in you can add more than 1 URL. Wish i knew that sooner would have been a life saver

You have to do it yourself. It updates fairly often, but I usually just update every so often, I'm seldom fully up to date. You can read the update notes to see if they are adding any new features you want or fixing any bugs you're having.

You have to do it yourself. Just highlight every fic you want to update (or click on the tag "in Progress" and then highlight them all at once ) and then click "update existing ..."

doh, I read the question wrong, I thought she was asking if calibre itself updated, lol! Woops, sorry for any confusion!

I do think someone said to click "update only if new chapters", just in case an author takes anything down, you don't want Calibre to "update" a fic back down to just one placeholder chapter!

Under configure plug in on the basic tab, it's in the second drop down menu. "Default if story already exist" there are several options there.

One of these days, I'm going to check out Calibre. Until then, would you mind changing the subject lines to mention Calibre - so that when I do start using it I can find all of your knowledge in a search?

That way, I won't drive you completely insane with my questions - I am a very slow learner when it comes to anything technological! I'll still probably drive you crazy, but not completely insane!

I'm struggling with my reading choices at the moment.

During the day, I'm reading The Art and Science of Teaching - it's nowhere near as fun as it sounds.

I'm also slowly working my way through Heirs and Heirlooms - it's very informative, in fact, it reminds me a little of reading my grandmother's memoirs of growing up in that era. I'm waiting for the story to actually begin - I just finished adult Edward's first chapter, so I think it might start moving along now.
