Well, I'm not Catholic, but I believe with all the other lawsuits the Catholic church is fighting these days your payoff is not likely to be very big.  I think those abused by priests might get all the church's assets first.

It sounds to me that the education system might be responsible for our Twific (and other - Booked?) addictions. I'm no lawyer, but I think we might be able to launch a class action lawsuit - and then we can all retire and spend our days reading (or watching - Booked?) p0rn!

So, I was thinking about P2P fics today after seeing a story about the Beautiful Bastard authors getting a book deal. Which fic do you think has potential to be a book? Friday's at Noon or Dear Mr. Masen are probably my top two.

I'm reading Blood & Glory right now, and I think this one could have potential. Not much about the characters screams "Twilight" to me, jut a few expressions of "you're my world now" and such.

I also think Departures by TheFicChick could make the jump, it was excellently written.

I never really got Beautiful Bastard or The Office as it was called before, I really just remember reading smut in every chapter; I don't even remember if it had a plot.

I really liked the Blood and Glory series and those would definitely be  good for a story, as Matron said they don't scream 'Twilight'.

And I kinda think The Other Side of the Fence would be a good one... because Bella is different ya know, she's not the short skinny brown hair, chocolate eyes crap every fic has, and Edward has brown hair and wears contacts (I don't remember what color).

Even thought I only like this Edward because he's Edward ... I would hate to see what they name him if they would to turn that fic into a book.

That is what Black Friday is, right? Here in Australia, we have Black Friday at Easter (Good Friday/Easter Friday) and a few times when we have had catastrophic bushfires, they get the nickname "Black...". The Black Friday bushfires were in 1939.
