I am from SC down in the Low country.     I've never been to Tennessee but I have heard that it's beautiful.

So, yes, I'm from Tennessee & I'm 5'9" tall. I don't even KNOW what my real bra size is anymore after years of wearing padded/push-up bras & since nursing 2 babies, let's just say... small. Thank goodness my husband's an "ass" man.

LOL! I think it gets confusing at first as there are a few with somewhat similar names - at least until you get to know them.   I think Illnevertell is from the Hilton Head area in NC. (is that what you mean by "low country")  I think you got comments from her and Illabeth confused. 

I think when I first started, I knew RDMickey because she had the best Rob P0rn.  The rest I would get mixed up.  Now I only get confusted when they change their avi's

Huh?  Did I?  looks back through posts....OH!  I missed this!  Yes! The avi is new.  I was at my parents and my mom's garden was so pretty that I took a bunch of pics.  I wish I could grow something besides tumbleweeds.

So YOU are really unobservant! 

I love beautiful photos of beautiful plants. I'd bet none of you would have thought that of me - it's something I love that surprises most people!

My grandparents had a beautiful garden. My mother has a real green thumb as well - she lives at the beach now so flowers don't do well. I am trying really hard to keep some lettuces, herbs and chillies alive in my little kitchen garden aka pots on my deck.

Our soil here is terrible - red clay - imagine play dough or modelling clay. And it's just too hot for flowers unless you're prepared to water every day and fertilise every week - I'm not. It's too expensive!

I excel at growing weeds however!

Yeah, unobservant.  For some reason, the post update skipped the end of the page and I didn't realize I missed a post.

I used to have a green thumb.  But the only thing I seem to be able to grow here are roses.  They like the hot in the summer, the cold in the winter, and don't need too much water. I just get the inexpensive ones.  The house plants die because my husband never opens the blinds when I'm not home. 

Hmm... maybe I should try mushrooms?

Yep - 'shrooms would help you cope with the frustration

Lauren - she's included a picture of a capsicum! I knew Americans call them "peppers" but I never knew that the English did too!

What do you guys call the chicken?  I know it has different names once it becomes cooking ready - fryers, roasters, etc...

And I know we've had the zucchini conversation.  And rubbers (another name for condoms)

I read "Hilton Heads" and pictured Hawaii.

I read "moss and gators" and heard banjos playing and pictured cousins getting married!

I googled Hilton Heads and saw a really gorgeous looking part of the world!

Oh, yes, that's an area on HHI called Harbor Town. Touristy spot with the lighthouse, marina, live music, shops & restaurants. We have to go there each time we visit when we vacation with my extended family.

I think the movie you're referring to is The Lucky One with Zac Efron, but I think it was filmed around New Orleans, LA. (I just watched it on TV last week.)

Yes, it is a little confusing trying to keep up with everyone's name, where they're from, sense of humor, fanfic they like, etc. (I have a touch of OCD.  )
