Its driving me crazy that I can't remember what picture ella had! I noticed she had a new avi ( it's nice by the way) but I can't believe I don't remember the old one. And I saw it everyday !!!!!

How is that possible - and I pride myself over my awesome memory!!!

I read "Hilton Heads" and pictured Hawaii.

I read "moss and gators" and heard banjos playing and pictured cousins getting married!

I googled Hilton Heads and saw a really gorgeous looking part of the world!

We are a chain of islands but it ain't Hawaii.

It is a beautiful part of the world and we have had quite a few movies filmed here. Forrest Gump, The Big Chill, and Forces of Nature are the biggest. I live right down the road from "the Big Chill" house and I drive over the bridge Forrest ran across daily.

You might hear some banjos playing but I believe we have progressed from marrying blood relatives. You need to go to NORTH carolina for that!

Yours is pretty easy to remember too. The others, like mine, would be hard to remember bec many of us use rob's handsome mug.

Heyheyhey neighbor, be nice. Lol. I am from NE NC. The county, not city, but the whole county I live in is 340 square miles or 881 square kilometers and has a population of 11000. There is 1 stoplight in the whole county. It has gone up a lot in population I would say the past several years with lots of people from VA moving in. We do have a lot of kin folk. There is not much here now, so what do you think the choices were when my ancestors came over in the mid 1600s? When I use to do a bunch of genealogy, I use to tell my parents I thought it was suppose to have branches, and all I have is a trunk! i had to get software that goes nuts when i do a kinship report. LMAO. My husband whom I met in college, is from the other end of the state. I tease I was getting purebred, so I had to bring in fresh genetics. My sister married what we call an import too. My family was one of the originals. My last name before marriage the city is named after. What does my city have besides farmland? A bank, a post office, a gas station, a volunteer fire dept. Yup that's it. I live not too far from the coast, and the Outer Banks of NC has tons of lighthouses. For those that remember their US History in school, it is also where "The Lost Colony" was. No banjos around here though, we have to head 8 hrs to the NC mountains to hear that.

At RAOR we did this years ago. It was a post of a paragraph and each of us had to read it and record on there. It was great since we had hundreds of RAOR sistas from all over the world. I love the British and Aussie accents.

The words much different that I noticed were advertisement, garage, again, and I will have to listen again, but I didn't know what the last word you said were before you started reading. I am sipping my first cup of coffee, so I need to wake up a little and get the frog out of my voice. Then I need to find a paragraph. I am not bashful as you ladies learned a long time ago

I found it Astro. Never even heard of wooloomooloo. That's a word?
