Thanks to all your good wishes my daughter made first place today in her age group!

She and her team are now Saxon National Champions for group performance in the children's age group up to 7 years. She got a gold medal and my youngest son said now she's wearing money!

So, now up to answering posts.

Diva Cup. Mine is a Lunette, it's the Finnish version I think but essentially they are all the same. I really like it and you get used to it pretty fast.

I hate tampons and I'm allergic to the chemicals they use in most pads. So I would have to use those big diaperlike pads which are equally awful. So I had the choice between reusable cloth pads or the cup and since my hubby does our laundry.... well, you get it. I love him and he wouldn't mind but ... no...

Like I said I have several friends who got very bad cramps using tampons and have none using the cup.

So, just a few tipps for those here that want to give it a try:

1. google the different folding possibilities and find the one you can hold most easily
2. do yourself a favour and start practising in the shower, it needs several tries to get used to it and so you don't have to fear spilling anything
3. NEVER NEVER try to remove it without releasing the seal first! ouch...
4. you can cut the stem if it is too long and makes you uncomfortable.

Go back and read Deviant! I almost flounced too but it's become a really good story. And what Edward does for a living *swoon.* The rest of the gang has all made their appearances. There is still the P but at least now it has plot.

As for Bite Club, the chapters are REALLY short and Edward just blew up his house. (This happens in the first chapter so i'm not spoiling). He meets Masen in jail and it just gets weirder from there. Seriously, the chapters are so short it would probably take about 15 minutes to read everything that's posted.

My oldest had a soccer game early this morning and my hubby went there with him and our youngest, so I had time preparing... They came home and my hubby told pretty proudly how he was "not very friendly" with the referee, because he didn't give enough penalties and the other team played pretty rough. In my son's age group (he's 11) the referees are only teenagers.... *rolleyes*
In the end they played 4:4...

All this talk reminds me of a VERY awkward moment the other day that I wish I could repress. I was with some friends and one bought up FSoG. Another hadn't read it and asked what was so bad. I mentioned how apart from the writing, that tampon scene was just wrong and everyone agreed.

Cue the girl who hadn't read it telling us all her boyfriend used to do that to her 'all the time' and that she thought it was a normal thing I had to explain that it wasn't exactly an acceptable method of foreplay and then changed the topic ASAP. I get being comfortable with your partner, but that's just gross.

I've never read FSoG or MotU, so could you please spoil me about that tampon scene?
