I love Tufano's summaries, but her stories get annoying to me after a while.  I don't know if it's the SPaG errors or all the bullying she adds, but I've flounced the ones I've started.  And it's sad, because I really want them to be good.

This is the one she is an overweight nurse? I heard about people flouncing it from all the bullying Bella suffers.

Yeah, I was close to flouncing back near the beginning. EVERYONE is horrible to her - colleagues, her father - and not just snide remarks, genuinely horrible and abusive behaviour. Not the kind of thing I like to read, especially not for chapters on end.

I have her on alert, but I can't remember why I'm not reading any of her stuff. I think I found the writing a bit childish. But I may be mixing her with someone else.

I have eventually finished this one. 
It is really long and is a complete re-write of Twilight.  The writing is decent and although there are some errors, they are not enough to put you off.

It is definitely one of the better vamp fics I have read if you can deal with the length of the story.

If you think that one's long, you'd cry at the 632,000 word story I bookmarked the other day! It'll be a miracle if I ever get around to reading it, as usually looking at the word count is enough to make me close the tab again

I read Impact (mentioned here a while ago, around 750,000 words) and enjoyed it, but in honestly I probably skimmed half the chapters because it was so technical. Another example of a story being needlessly dragged out

Damn, after sweating through a 3 hour blackout, eating some cupcakes now sure sounds great.

What a great saturday so far despite the power outage... Kids and i woke up at 10:30...ordered pizza, mojos and pasta for lunch (Shakey's, do you have that in europe or oz?)... all 3 of us leaving the bed only to eat or use the bathroom...reading/playing with our ipads ... what a way to rest from a busy work week... Now thinking where to order our dinner 

No Shakey's here - perhaps in Sydney or Melbourne, but definitely not in little old Rock-Vegas!

And what is a mojo?

I was thinking it's  a mojito - but why would your children be having mojitos for lunch? Mummy maybe, but not the kids!

We gave a moment of silence, contemplating the Trifecta before us. Two cups of steaming coffee-straight from the Fauxbucks insta-serve machine, a bowl of microwaved (now liquid) Hershey's chocolate, and a plate of peanutbutter-filled cookie sandwiches.
Bella sighed deeply. She always did when faced with the Trifecta, but this sigh had undertones of genuine tension. Taking a cookie sandwich, she scooped an impressive amount of chocolate on to it. Raising the devilish dessert to her mouth, her eyes closed in appreciation.

And they said reading isn't fattening 

I just watched this week's Survivor Fans V Favourites (this week's here - it might be 6 months behind the rest of the world!) but they had the food auction and there was a massive bowl of peanut butter (which I will always think of as peanut paste!).

Not only was it strangely erotic, but I might now also be eating a sliced Granny Smith apple spread with crunchy peanut paste!

I'm mourning the eviction of Malcolm from the tribe!



I'm also mourning that I've used my entire 50GB monthly d/l limit so my internet has been slowed to 256kbps - so it's click, have a coffee, click, shave my legs, click, read a book...for me until 2 May!

Damn my downloading addiction!!!

1968 Vietnam. E&B both captains and doctors at the U.S. Army 99th Evacuation Hospital and R&R location. They have a one-night stand before Bella's first day on assignment, and then have to figure out how to work together. Bella fights sexism. Jacob fights racism. Edward widower, kind of old-fashioned. Jasper chauvinistic, but cleans up well. Alice strong, only slightly quirky. 100% AH, with some spirituality and mysticism.  Most characters slightly to completely OOC (especially in the case of Jasper), but hopefully still enjoyable. NC-17 for sex and language and drug use, plus references to rape and murder and torture.

I read the first few chapters back in 2011 but stopped when I realised that it had stopped updating. Does anyone know what's going on with this fic?

Do you know what happened to Bella of Victoria?

She talks about working on it in lots of her author notes, but she doesn't seem to be making much progress.  She claims she's going to work on it after she finishes Professionally Personal which is almost complete.

She just gave birth to a baby boy. I don't think he is one month old yet.

Hopefully, she's spending her spare time sleeping then.  We probably won't hear from her for awhile.  Thanks for the info D-D.
