I need to learn to download fics I like as soon as I finish reading them!

It is a little amusing because Bella is a 30 year old school counselor who is so much older than 17 year old  Edward who is a vampire.  And she doesn't understand why she finds him so attractive.  So I'm having a hard time putting it down to work.

And now that I have thought of this again, I might use my new slow cooker and make some this weekend, although it's far too warm for comfort food like this.

Actually, I just saw on the news that it looks like we might be in for our 4th cyclone of the season! They're predicting one to form near Papua New Guinea and travel down the coast - possibly dumping more rain!

Well, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login works on just about everything.  But it runs through Steve's servers.  So you don't want to do mass downloads with it.  Downloading a story you like when you finish it? that's good. 

Though I mostly use Calibre's fanfictiondownloader plugin or the program FanFiction Downloader which is available for download for both PC & Mac  The first works on most of the fanfic websites the second only really works on ffnet.  Though I occasionally got it to work on TWCS.

I am still to experience Calibre (I am a world champion procrastinator!) and I d/l with flagfic - but I do donate to the site. I figure that what I am saving on buying books should go towards keeping flagfic and PTS running.

But what I ment was that I have to stop adding them to the to do pile. I'm going through my favorites list and It looks like alot of the fics were taken down!

But I'm thinking about using calibre .... it seems like it works for a lot of the ladies here.

Haven't gotten around to reading PoF yet but it is in my TBR list, slowly inching its way up. am not much of an angst fan as i prefer light, humorous, romantic stuff, must be all HEA. however, I did read Emancipation Proclamation (published as Sempre which i haven't read) and Offside. i loved both of them and are at my top 10 favorite fanfics 

   This one has a good bit of angst, but not near as much as some I've read.   I'll have to check out Offside, thanks for mentioning it.  I LOVED Sempre.

Don't put it too far down. I loved this and followed for the 2.5 years as it updated as a wip.

I don't know how you guys follow WIPs...   very impressive!  I'm too much into instant gratification I guess.  LOL

I think this is one of those stories that I will put off reading forever because I don't really want to read Prisonward, but when I finally do read it? yeah, I will love it.

Also, thanks for the Blue Satin & Cowboy Boots rec. I just finished Pistols & Petticoats and may read another western instead of changing to a different genre like I usually do. I try to avoid WIPs, but sometimes I like the fic too much to wait for completion to start it. And I'm REALLY liking cowboyward right now.

I should confess, i don't own an oven so i don't bake. Have always been a good eater, not a cook 

I didn't say they tasted any good!  Actually, I wouldn't know what they taste like - the thought of eating one after all that baking makes my stomach turn!

I have it down to a fine art now and can knock out 100 in just a few hours from start to finish. Waiting for them to cool before icing is the worst part.

Last time, they sold for $2 each. This time, they're going to sell them for $3 each or $4 with a tea/coffee - country fundraising at its best. So that could be over $300 worth of baking right there.
