Why does it seem to be all doctors in the fanfic world are completely inept? The amount of times I read a story with an 'infertile' character and a sudden pregnancy pops up is crazy. Whenever I see any mention of not being able to have kids in a story I just roll my eyes and wait for the inevitable chapters of the woman stressing the man will think she's somehow tricked him, and the man accusing her of cheating

Drives me mad.

I will move it up there with Hydraulic 5 and The otherside of the fence. I am still trying to organize my darn Calibre files. where the he!! i got over 12k books from I have no clue.

I think you have more than I do right now. I have over 9800 in between my WIPs/Completed fics/Real Books libraries.

But then I realize I have a bunch more PDFs that haven't made it into Calibre. only because I'm too lazy/don't have enough time to manually input all the information for each one. I only get the info when I download things. I'm thinking about how to download some of the "left one chapter to keep the reviews" stories just to get the info, and merging them with mobi or pdf versions and then deleting the one chapter epub. Hmm. Maybe next week LOL!

Though to be fair about this, it does happen. Something about relaxing and giving up. I know my brother, got the mumps from an inoculation when he first joined the Marines that made him close to sterile. They tried for years to get pregnant. Then they were giving the choice of giving up or having a "test tube" baby, & they gave up. A year later, my sister-in-law was pregnant. There were no accusations though

I gave up. I'm not OCD and I just don't have the time. I hardly have the time to read. I feel confident if one comes along and I don't have or it's not up here, one of you girls will have it. That's what friends are for.

Plus I am usually on my Ipad and not my pc. After 12-14 hrs days at work on one, I'm ready for a change.

I think this is one of those stories that I will put off reading forever because I don't really want to read Prisonward, but when I finally do read it? yeah, I will love it.

It is a little amusing because Bella is a 30 year old school counselor who is so much older than 17 year old Edward who is a vampire. And she doesn't understand why she finds him so attractive. So I'm having a hard time putting it down to work.

LOL You sound like me. I somehow have ones that are incomplete that wont update from the website so i have to reload them. UGH. But i am hopefully almost done. I just want to start reading again.

OMG soo true. I seem to have alot of PDF, MOBI, PRC and EPUB. each a different size, some with a pic, summary, and tags and some not.

) by about the 5th page of the first chapter and I'm pretty sure if I wasn't pregnant and hormonal I would still of cried and most of that was Because Bella has a stutter and talks to her doll - Dolly.

This fic is definitely on my re-read pile.

LOL! I put a whole bunch of stories on my Kindle that I really wanted to read, based on their summaries or reviews here. Then when I am looking for something, none of the titles jump out at me & when I open them to look at the summaries, I think "why the heck did I want to read this?"

Sigh...it is so frustrating. It's like going grocery shopping when you are hungry and throwing all sorts of things that look interesting in your cart. Then the next day when you go to cook dinner, you can't find anything good to make. Because nothing works together, or you really don't like what you bought. Yeah.

That was the only downfall with it - I think the last few chapters were a bit rushed but otherwise I loved it.

Massive fic rec coming up.

I've read this fic a couple of time and I have to say it's one of my favorites, I read this when it was a one -shot for a contest and I had to live with it when it turned out that Bella didn't get her HEA

But then one time I was feeling to depressed or something that I came across this NON- HEA one-shot and it tuned out it had been extended; Now this time I learned my lesson and I read the last sentences of the last chapter and I was so happy I could sing because the Non-HEA became a HEA.

(That's a lot of HEA's I used there

)

And yesterday I was going through my favorites list on FF and came across this lovely fic, and decided I needed to read it...again. So I did and cried my eyes out

.... again.

So people go read!!! It is a bit depressing( ok a lot ) But I think it's so worth it; I think it's so well written ( but I might be biased

) and Bella's a bit depressing but what the hell, all the Bella's I read are depressing... thinking they are ugly and that Edward could do so much better than them ( I hate when that happens in a fic, which is in all of them)

I'm watching Graham Norton at the moment and Alison Moyet is one of the guests.

I was shocked when I saw her as she looks nothing like I remember. The amount of weight she has lost is amazing.

Her voice is still fantastic.

Thank goodness it's Friday!

I have only read about 4 chapters in the last three days as I have been so damn busy.

I don't have anything planned for the weekend except for reading and chilling out. I may even have a couple of drinks later to toast the end of a crap week.

I enjoyed Sexy Silk - it had me in laughing out loud with some of the Tulip/Slugger interaction.

It must be the season - I had a busy and crappy week and was going to celebrate last night, but fell asleep on the couch before I even got the vodka out of the freezer!

I don't have a name for my bits, and I haven't yet read Sexy Silk, but in California Waiting, Bella calls her girl "Scarlett" and Edward Jnr is Preston - and there is a particularly hot chapter involving Scarlett and Preston and red licorice...and Emmett!

I am reading...a REAL book!

When I am a few more chapters into it (I keep passing out this week - not the book's fault, blame stress and busyness!), I'll let you know what I think. It came to me highly rec'ed by out Little Miss Laurendeplume

Gremlins was on TV here recently.

I think fics/books-8406 might be like Gremlins...they multiply when they get wet!

The only way I can explain the number of fics and books I have is by the amount of water, tea and coffee I drip on my laptop!
