Thank God you already called her attention to it. I really hate big banners, of any kind, as it takes up so much space and makes it harder to look at the posts. But then again, if it was a gorgeous picture of Rob, i wouldn't have minded . however, i draw the line at glittery, sparkly,moving large banners, Rob or not. I might develop epilepsy, if that's even possible, just by looking at those.

I hardly go to the other threads but i can just imagine how annoying to see the same post in diff threads. That was why I was agreeing to the suggestion a few months back to merge the twilight fanfic threads into one or 2 (saves server space and easier to look for stuff). so there will be just 4 twilight fanfic general threads:
a) for the requests/posting of canon fanfics
b) requests/posting of non-canon
c) this one, for the recommendations and discussion
d) flounced fanfics.
Well, just my thoughts as i don't know how many more threads about twilight there are here.

Maybe we need to ask Drypen to close some of those posts.

I gave her a huge list. She's working on it. But, almost every day new people come and create new threads. If appropriate, several of us try to herd them in the correct direction. After a while, we'll have to give Drypen a new list. There are politics involved, as well. The creators of the threads have to be willing to have their threads locked. It's always something.

Speaking of which, my youngest child is considering throwing up. Must dash!

HI Everyone - after my Daughter spent ages nagging me today, I decided to come on here as she was tellling me about some of the messages she read after letting you know what happened to our little one.
I just wanted to say a mahoosive
Me and the hubby have been reading through your post and PM's (which I will reply to, I promise) and are eternally grateful for all your kind words and thoughts.
I will try and get on here properly in the next few days as the hubby (and, yes my bossy Daughter) thinks it will do me some good to get of my head for a while, as he was really astonished by how kind everyone on here is and thinks that you will all help me, which I'm certain you will.
So once again, Thank you all so much - this just proves why we are so lucky to have PTS as people on here really are amazing.

Most of them seem to have disappeared.

I didn't realize there were so many. I just know of the 4 or 5, okay maybe 6 or 7, but that includes the ones Booked mentioned.

I might send it to my doctor. It contains both cranberry juice AND lime juice!

I was actually looking for roast salsa verde recipes, but they all need tomatillos, which don't exist in Australia.

Do any of you know if something can be substituted? Can I use normal tomatoes, or maybe unripe/green tomatoes?

Also, while I'm asking, does white cranberry juice taste the same as normal cranberry juice? I don't think we have the white stuff here and I will really need this when I finish up the meds my dr is forcing me to take for a week: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I haven't read too many with the premise you are talking about.

Other than that, I am reading a bunch of Vampward and I could rec something from that.

The FIRST in the Angel series. This is my version of New Moon and beyond if Edward didn't return for 2 years. Jacob is NOT the sweet boy everyone thinks he is. What kind of Bella did Edward come back to? How does she react? AU/OOC-somewhat...Future LEMONS! Rated M for a reason. R&R!

There are three more in this series if you like this one.... It is Twilight with a twist. No Renesmee, but I really enjoyed it. Also, once Bella and Edward are together, they are never parted. No more New Moon leaving. Okay, well after he comes back.

This actually was really different. Edward became a vamp at the beginning of the story. Bella is fairly new to Forks. And Edward has amnesia. There is an HEA.

Oh!! I've heard of the Angel series because I have read the Blood & Glory trilogy (Which I Love and always reread), but I never got around to read the Angel series so I'll definitely check that out.

As for Amnesia, I don't remember seeing it, so I'll read that one as well.

Hi there! Unfortunately I don't read many canon re-writes, but I would suggest that you search 'eclipse' on FF.net and then use the search options to narrow the field down into the type of story you're looking for. At least that way you're in the right type of story setting. Sorry I couldn't be of more help

Don't worry about it.

I'm just being lazy and not searching on my own because of school.

But I will try and search "eclipse" of FF.net so thank you for your suggestion.

Sometimes, I'm really glad that my mum is not a reader!

Last year, my cousin posted a holiday photo of her dad, sitting at a cafe table while his 6, 10 and 12yo grandchildren played in the background. There was a copy of FSoG on the table!

Of course, I pointed this out to my cousin (and the rest of the world - she has a LOT of FB friends!) and she denied it was his, but wouldn't say who it belonged to, so either my 72 year old uncle likes reading mummy p0rn, or my cousin was reading it - in public! - and was too embarrassed to admit it.

Lol I got my mom hooked on the original twilight books

she went with me to every movie. She loved the fighting scene in the last one. But she doesn't understand the whole twilight ff thing. So no introducing her to FSoG that was just a no no. I still prefer the version with Edward and Bella

No! White cranberry juice does not taste like regular cranberry. Think white grape as comapred to regular grape juice.

As for tomatillos, you can sub green tomatoes. Tomatillos are like hard, sour tomatoes.

ETD: Just looked online - I can get "Cranberry Apple & Lemon With Echinacea" and "Cranberry & Apple With Aloe Vera" but I can't get white cranberry juice! And definitely no white grape juice either!
