Same here! I don't watch scary movies or tv shows. walking dead? Never saw an episode and quickly changes the channel even if it is just an ad for it. $:-\$
Probably why i also don't read much paranormal stuff.

I didn't find it that scary. There are paranormal elements. But frankly, if you can watch Once Upon a Time on TV? This is nothing. I'd rank it with Lord of the Rings on a scary scale. Though Lord of the Rings might be scarier.

I agree. I just didn't think Staceleo's story was really horror, though she put it in that category on ffnet. I was just trying to find a similar scary level.

I tend to find Mafiaward stories scarier. With all the bad guys.

I know you have a copy of it hon. I am sure you do in your stash.....but, it was posted here. I am sure it is here quite a few times, but this came up first in the search.

Since it's PDF & I was reading on my phone or kindle the last time I thought about reading this, I may have given up. PDF doesn't always convert to mobi well, and it is too small to read it easily otherwise.

Now I have a tablet. Or two. I will read it next. I'm in the looking mode now. Thanks!

I totally understand. When I came here year in 2011, I only read via laptop, so pdf was fine. Now I have an ipad and I much prefer epub.

But today me, the hubby and Saxon decided to go shoe shopping (which I hate btw) as I need a new pair for when I go back next week.
Anyhoo, the hubby decided he needed a new pair as well, so when we asked the sales assistant for a size 9 and a size 12, he came back out with the shoes and gave my hubby the 12's and me the 9's.
When the guy saw us swap the shoes over - he turned and said to my hubby:
"Holy sh*t Dude, she has bigger feet than you!"
My ever loving hubby just replied: "But at least my d*ck's bigger than hers!"

Yes, I do have size 12 - they look like they belong to a hobbit (minus the hair though).

I'm 5 ft 11.5".

LMAO. Well I am assuming they are not the exact pair of shoes. But in the US - women's sizes are not equal to men's sizing.
In fact a man's size 9, would be like a woman's 11 to 11.5.
Tell hubs - I am proud of him for not being bashful and shoving it right back to the salesperson's face.

FYI - I wear a woman's 9, but my sister and my grandmother wear a 10.5 or 11. I am 5ft 6 in and my sister is only 1" taller than me. My grandmother passed last year, but she was my height as well.

It's not too bad. There is nothing that I can think of that would put me off recommending it.

I agree. Maybe my skin has gotten tougher over the years, but this I really didn't see as angsty and I read it as a wip and waited for updates. I would deem it more drama.

You should have gone to another store! Most sales people get commission for their sales here.
No way I would let this insensitive prick get any commission.
