Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

This makes me wonder if anyone has time travel fics they'd recommend. I loved Lissa Bryan's Written in the Stars and TKegel's Beyond Time.
Read Beyond Time, really good story.  Not read Written in the Stars.  Got to give that a go. Trouble with me reccing a fic is it will usually be non canon, lol!!

Her forbidden Hero and One Night With a Hero by Laura Kaye.

They are based on a brother and sister facing their crappy childhood after meeting someone that makes them question themselves.  The stories are separate but, interlinked.

The angst is not that bad and overall a decent read.

Since I have read her vampire warriors, and am now the Anemoi series. I will be heading into that series probably the weekend. The vampire warriors are more novellas.....avg 100+ pages and that is all.

Since I have read her vampire warriors, and am now the Anemoi series. I will be heading into that series probably the weekend. The vampire warriors are more novellas.....avg 100+ pages and that is all.

I agree and I have read several. I think my fav so far are the vampire warriors.  Just wished they were longer than novellas.

Another author I like and is not superstar (yet) is Felicity Heaton, a UK writer. I have read all of the Angels series and a few of the vampire erotica theater.

Another one not as well known is Opal Carew. I read the 6 chapter His to Command series.

No, but based on your past recs they are going to be next on the list!

I am trying to alternate between fic and book.  If the book is in a series I will finish the whole thing.

It keeps thing interesting even though half of the time I am switching the characters to Edward and Bella!

It's part of why I didn't start Kaye's Anemoi (third book comes out this month and the fourth next year) or her Vampire Warrior Kings (3rd and 4th) are due later this year. Her site said more Heroes in 2014. (She also has a Hard Ink series forthcoming. Suffice it to say these are low on the TBR.

Based on the heroes series only, they seem to be stories in their own right - I didn't feel like that I was missing out on anything.  They are short, sweet and thoroughly enjoyable independent of the others.

I too like reading through a series. And I can say Felicity Heaton angel series builds off one another. So you need to read back to back. When I read that series supposedly the last book was getting ready to come out and i timed it perfectly. Now it is so popular, she is going to write one more.

Laura Kaye's vampire warrior novellas are really separate. Very little is linked, but I do recommend reading in order, because one item explained well in the first, is only mentioned in the second. Not that it detracted from the small plot, but at least you knew. So far her Anemoi series is kinda separate too. There is brief mentions of the previous characters

Sylvia Day, I have read most of her series too, and now wait for more books in each series to publish. So I totally understand your point. Her series reads as wips. You are left waiting....

I love stories that have time travel but I Remain Yours just has the magic of the desk. The only things that travel in time are the letters they put in the desk.  I've never read a Twilight fic that had reincarnation. If you remember the one you read could you put it up, sounds interesting. :)

I know this kind of topic, I know we've all said about our height, Bra size etc on here.
But today me, the hubby and Saxon decided to go shoe shopping (which I hate btw) as I need a new pair for when I go back next week.
Anyhoo, the hubby decided he needed a new pair as well, so when we asked the sales assistant for a size 9 and a size 12, he came back out with the shoes and gave my hubby the 12's and me the 9's.
When the guy saw us swap the shoes over - he turned and said to my hubby:
"Holy sh*t Dude, she has bigger feet than you!"
My ever loving hubby just replied: "But at least my d*ck's bigger than hers!"  ^-^
I kind of wanted to do this:

Sounds like something my husband would say  :D
