This is my first time posting on this thread , I normally hang out on the other thread ( more than 152 twilight fanfic) Just read an interesting article my son found on io9 regarding fanfic. It seem that Amazon is selling fanfic. Will we have to start paying for fanfic in the future? Will Twilight be joining the list in future? I am not sure how i feel about that. Imagine paying for a fic that is crappy and full of errors. Or having the Author pull the fic just before the end to put it on amazon so that you have to pay to find out the ending

They've been selling Jane Austen fanfics for years.

I guess it will depend on the original author. I don't want to pay for crappy stories. But I guess if it is good? I mean we sometimes pay when they publish.

Do you know how freaking hard it was to search the previous conversation (in 2 threads!) about the bra sizes? My eyes got crossed trying to move quickly through the hundreds of posts! i knew we talked about it around feb 13, 2013, page 285 onwards in Part Deux. but there was mention of it in january so it may have also been in dec but i only found few responses. Would you believe i couldn't find astro's bra size?! We all know she is well endowed but for me not to find it?! $:-\$ I also know someone posted the international size comparison of bra sizes across countries and couldn't locate it as well! am really not good in searching

If you girls want to take pity on me and put me out of my OCD misery, pls shout out your bra size and feet size so i can post the spreadsheet by this weekend.

Adriana Hunter
- pretty short, steamy reads

I really love Olivia Cunning (Sinner's on Tour series is Super HOT!), Colleen Hoover (Slammed Series) and S.C. stephens (Thoughtless series). Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick series is also good!

If it makes you feel better, my feet are also bigger than my husband's. Though his are wider. I'm also about an inch taller than he is.

I don't wear heels much with him.

I wear anywhere from a 9.5 to an 11, depending on manufacturer and whether I want to wear athletic socks or not.

Yay, I'm not alone in the bigger-than-hubby feet department.

I'm lucky the hubby is 6ft 3" so he's taller than me, which is quite nice as the guys I've been with that have been shorter even if by an inch or two did't like it that I was taller than them.

So, I've just started reading Fridays at Noon. Loved the whole penny/nickel thing in the beginning... I'm wondering though, what was with the camping/weekend scene? It was their first time together and it completely skipped over it. I think that's what people call "faded to black"? Is the whole book that way or are there lemons?

Just finished this fic and it's sequel - floved them both.

If they start selling fanfic what's going to happen to ff, twcs etc...? Are the authors that write for them going to pull their work to sell it?

A terrible thought. I read the article, Amazon Kindle have bought up the rights of a few tv series from Warner Bros so far and the stories must be PG according to what I read. The only thing worrying me is if Little Brown & Co/S Meyer get the idea from this and start their own site for publishing fanfic. Don't fancy trying to download everything on Ff.net that I might possibly want before it gets taken down if that happens! Think I might start downloading more and saving it to disc or stick just in case.

Thats what I was thinking, If amazon does it every author will put up their own fanfic site to buy from. But between all the wonderful people here I'm pretty sure we have everything good saved

I tell you, this is where Calibre comes in handy. I download everything that looks interesting to me into it. I have it separated by complete /incomplete fics. Then every week I highlight the incomplete ones & update them. It's worked well as long as they don't pull & repost - that changes the URL.

And really? Someone here probably has it if it's good and complete.

I love stories that have time travel but I Remain Yours just has the magic of the desk. The only things that travel in time are the letters they put in the desk. I've never read a Twilight fic that had reincarnation. If you remember the one you read could you put it up, sounds interesting.

There is a WIP called Of My Soul You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login the premise is pretty good but you need to ignore the SPaG. I'm waiting impatiently for her to update!

RDMickey1989 - I have read all of the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning and what nice is most of the characters from those stories are in the Fever Series. I really enjoyed them and have reread the Fever Series.

*Waving at Booked* My shoe size is a 5. Really hard to find nice shoes in my size.

Luckily I love flip flops.

I think i read ended up stopping on book 5. These books were good but they were SOOOOO long. I needed a change of pace and ended up never finishing the series, which is unlike me.
