Duh, yet another reason to compare thngs before deleting.  The missus version was in my ipad but deleted it, thinking this one is a more complete one, without my reading the summary 
Another valid reason to fire up my PC on saturday, search for the deleted version of salacious.

There is a WIP called Of My Soul You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login the premise is pretty good  but you need to ignore the SPaG. I'm waiting impatiently for her to update!

RDMickey1989 - I have read all of the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning and what nice is most of the characters from those stories are in the Fever Series.  I really enjoyed them and have reread the Fever Series.

*Waving at Booked* My shoe size is a 5.  Really hard to find nice shoes in my size.    Luckily I love flip flops.

I would read the Highlander series first.  Most are interconnected to each other.  Then I would Fever which is mostly about Mac and Barrons with some of the Highlander characters included.  I thought it was very well done!

Of course! I have a long train ride tomorrow, so hopefully I should get through a good deal of it so I can get back to you

A terrible thought.  I read the article, Amazon Kindle have bought up the rights of a few tv series from Warner Bros so far and the stories must be PG according to what I read.  The only thing worrying me is if Little Brown & Co/S Meyer get the idea from this and start their own site for publishing fanfic.  Don't fancy trying to download everything on Ff.net that I might possibly want before it gets taken down if that happens!  Think I might start downloading more and saving it to disc or stick just in case.   

 

Thats what I was thinking, If amazon does it every author will put up their own fanfic site to buy from. But between all the wonderful people here I'm pretty sure we have everything good saved 

If that happened, will we still be able to shared Twilight fanfic on pts and other site or will that be a copyright infringement. I am thinking that i should start downloading but there are soooo many stories.  Which ones to download?

Honestly, I wouldn't panic about it. I doubt Stephenie Meyer would go for the idea of selling fanfic in that type of venture in the first place - if she was interested in making money from derivative works, she wouldn't have allowed FSoG and the other P2P works since. There's been no confirmation that a venture like that would 'outlaw' non-Amazon fanfic anyway, so for now I'd sit tight and continue as usual

Thanks. The ladies on the 152 thread are so knowledgeable and fast and so willing to help. I got most of my fic from that thread. Will start hanging out here too as the ladies here are funny and for pics of Rob. Read fifty shades as a published work, so my first real Fanfic was Edward Wallbanger.

I think quite a few people were introduced to Twific through Fifty. I can barely even remember the first fanfic I read.. I'm fairly sure I found Twilighted first and then worked my way through their 'Top Ten' lists. I think it was either Loner by Nilla or something similar, so I'm surprised I didn't run in the other direction

It was in april 2011. I was so frustrated with the rough draft of midnight sun that I searched for more and google found this. My reading habits have been forever changed ever since.
