I was actually trying to reply to a post about someone that had asked if my story "Progress' gets any better. It doesn't. I won't lie.

I can honestly say I have enjoyed all your stories and even read Instant HEA to my granddaughter.  She had no idea what it was all about but loved the Unicorns and Rainbows.

Welcome!  You have a lot of fans here.  Don't worry about not being good at the site.  We were all newbies once and it's pretty easy to get the hang of things. 

But watch out for Booked.  As soon as she gets on here she's going to want to know your height, shoe size, bra size and general geographic location.  She's keeping a spread sheet.

Hey, no problem.  I loved Progress.  I'm blanking on what else I've read.  But then, I don't remember what I'm currently reading half the time either. 

If you stick around, you'll get the hang of this site & pretty soon you'll be telling people how to post pictures and fancy emoticons too!

I saw that someone was looking for (Don't You) Forget About Me. Is there an easy way to add the PDF for her?

When you post a reply on a thread you'll see a green box below the box you write in that says "Add Attachment."  You click that then add your file.  Wait till it uploads and says "Done!" before you hit the post button.  If you're trying to reply on a thread that's locked, you won't get the "Add Attachment" button.  Before you upload a story, you should check our Index (the link is in my signature line) to make sure it hasn't already been uploaded.  HTH

All of this talk about books is making me realise how woefully under-read I am. I don't know how you ladies manage to keep up with so many different characters and storylines - I can only manage one book at a time!

Oh man! I did a double take too when i read your username! Welcome to our thread! I've read a number of your works. FAP and Vinyl i enjoyed quite a lot. But still have more of yours to read. It's so cool to actually "talk" to 107yearoldvirgin

Yup, have to explain i am a bit OCD, so when people started mentioning those stats a few months ago, i decided to make a spreadsheet. The shoe and bra size thing i just started yesterday to add to the list. 
I am giving myself until Friday night to gather all info i can before i attach the  spreadsheet here on Saturday for everyone's reference  This is my way of "letting go" 

Lastly, i want to thank you for teaching me what "FAP" was! I sure had a proud moment mentioning that term during a night out with my girlfriends last year after i read it. Absolutely loved their horrified giggles when i explained it to them.  Who ever said fanfiction doesn't teach you anything is completely clueless!

Yesterday I learned the etymology of the term scot-free. Useless info I know, but like Booked/OCD, I saw the term, was curious and needed to know.

['Skat' is a Scandinavian word for tax or payment and the word migrated to Britain and mutated into 'scot' as the name of a redistributive taxation, levied as early the 10th century as a form of municipal poor relief. Whatever the tax, the phrase 'getting off scot free' simply refers to not paying one's taxes. It's morphed over the centuries to the figurative meaning 'getting away with something, like custody.']

Is this the same one done by missusrobinson? She changed her nom de plume?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. She makes no mention of a name change anywhere on her profile at least.
