I save most of my stuff on my ipad in pdf because then I can email it.  I haven't found a way to email the epub or mobi yet.

I just got a laptop so as soon as I have some time how about we all get together so you can show me how to use Calibre!?   ;)

 :-*

Sounds good.  It is pretty easy. Once you get the hang of it.  But some of the other ladies on here are wizards on Calibre   :-*

I'm well jealous in the UK we've had hail storms, snow, rain, wind - the works. A little sun would be nice.  :P

Tell me about it. I'm up in Bath at the moment and it was nice and sunny earlier.. and then completely started hailing down after that, and then was overcast afterward. I guess I'll just have to stay inside and read fanfic... >:D

Such a hardship.   ;)

I am really struggling to find anything to hold my interest tonight - a real shame, as I planned to spend the long weekend chilling out and reading.

I live about a hour away from Bath, so I totally know what you're talking about hun. I was outside sorting the goats and rabbits out earlier as it was only overcast then got pelted by hail, I tried to leg it back inside and fell over - so I've now got a lovely bruise on my butt.  :(

Try reading Mail-Order Millionaire by Carol Grace. It's mindless and an easy read, though not a page-turner if that's the sort of thing you want.

Me too.  In the last 2 days i've started and flounced three fics!

And if anyone wants tons of sun and heat you can come here and lounge in the pool-- it's 88 degrees F (31C) in the pool and 99 (37C) outside!
Welcome to the sunny American southwest!  (My house is cooled to 76F (25C)).  I've got plenty of beer, wine, champagne, vodka, tequila and St. Germaine's!

My favorite book this year... well, second favorite book, is Sea of Tranquility by Katja Milay. Have you read that? It's a book, not fic. I just love it so much, I always throw it out there whenever people are stuck looking for something to read.

I've just started reading You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.
I read the first chapters when it was a WIP but as I'm following so many decided to wait until it was completed.
It takes a few chapters to get into it properly but so far I'm really liking it.
Bella doesn't make me wanna kill her or myself at the moment anyway, so that's always good. :o :P

Yes, I read that one a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

I tend to switch between fics and books now as decent fics seem to be dwindling.

What's your favourite book this year then?

In real books, do you do PNR at all? I really liked Suzanne Wright's Phoenix Pack books, Feral Sins and Wicked Cravings.

I've been recc'ing this all over the place lately (as the girls here can attest to :D) You should also try Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry as that's similar to Sea of Tranquility. I love them both.
