We're in Biloxi today. Going to see one tourist trap, then to New Orleans to have lunch with my nephew, then driving til we make it home. My daughter is ready to be out of the car and finally see her dog.

I haven't done a road trip in forever! They can be fun. And tiring.

Of course, it is nice that my husband likes to drive. And gets carsick if he isn't driving. So I get to look at the scenery and read the whole way.

OMG, I just got crazy buying DVDs and Books for the Kids and CDs with Soundtracks...
We have that great online store where you can buy used DVDs, CDs, books, games etc for very Little Money... I just lose control every time I look there..., but honestly? A DVD for €1? XMen Trilogy for 2€? It's cheaper than renting...

So, anyway, thank you all for answering my question to meals. You would think professional translaters would know that and get it right... Now I know better...

We avoid doing road trips that are longer than 1 hour

At least one kid gets car sick very soon or they drive us crazy... We'll wait till they are older...

I download a lot, I think like you, better you have it that regret it when it's been pulled. nd with the FFdownloader plugin for calibre you can download all the stories from one author with only two clicks... so easy!

we started potty Training with my youngest today... $:-\$

Let's just say I'm glad he's my third and combined with the clothing from my SIL's Kids we have enough stuff to Keep him clothed even if he misses EVERY D*** TIME

Here it is:
Morning Meal - breakfast (before 10 am)
Mid morning snack - Merienda (10-11am)
Mid morning meal - Brunch (normally you won't eat anything before brunch since it will be a heavy meal. you also won't eat lunch anymore. so brunch combines breakfast and lunch. eaten starting around 10:30 or 11)
Lunch - heavy meal (12pm - 1pm)
Mid afternoon snack - Merienda (anytime bet 3-4:30pm)
Evening meal - Dinner (7pm onwards)

Typically, we Filipinos like eating A LOT, even in small doses. So we eat 5 times a day (breakfast, merienda, lunch, merienda, dinner).

I'm wondering, do you speak spanish? From what I remember from History class (never my favourite subject) it was the official language there for 3 centuries. Merienda is also how we call the mid afternoon snack

Although I don't have two legged kids, I've done trips with the four legged kind. At least you can put them in a cage. But sometimes? The sound is worse. Shut up or I'll take away your DVD player just doesn't work for some reason.

I started with this great program called Fanfiction Downloader. I loaded it on to my computer & could open 6 to 8 versions of it. I could download sooooo much. It was so great. The only thing I don't like about Calibre now is if you want to find a story without opening Calibre. The file system is a little complicated. But that is usually when I'm looking for a story for here.

I figured out with my third boy to just keep him naked from the waist down and have him go (or try) every hour on the dot.

That's the plan!

Unfortunately it's too cold to keep him naked and he insists of clothes anyway, he doesn't like to be naked... strange little guy...

But he has to be "potty trained" in September when he turns 3 and starts kindergarten, so we'll cope...
