I regularly eat celery sprinkled with salt as a snack. I love the taste of it.

I have never tried a Bloody Mary - I agree with Booked on drinking tomato juice - Yuk!

Celery salt is really tasty on cheese on toast.

When I have cheese on toast, I have vegemite on it, so I get the salty kick.

I have never thought of putting salt on celery.

Oooo! Can you sprinkle celery with celery salt?

A good Bloody Mary is awesome - as a breakfast or brunch drink. To have them after that just seems wrong. It needs to be really cold and really spicy too. They are a great recovery drink - hair of the dog, and all that.

This is a good recipe, but I never bother to let it marinade (too impatient!) and I've never garnished with pickled anything - just a stick of celery and a few grinds of black pepper on the top.

Astro hope you are feeling better! Finished reading WWF and WWS loved them both, added them to my top FF.

I have to agree with most of you EP was a wonderful read, but I didn't have that much of a problem with specially after reading TPW, I mean that was one of the hardest fics I have ever read, still TPW was like a train reck you know that something bad is happening but you just keep watching or in this case reading

Can't compile a top 10 list, is more like a top 50 or maybe 90 is difficult to just have a top10 at least for me

And yeah I don't like celery all that much unless is mixed with something else, like a Bloody Mary, but it's too early for alcohol right now it's six am, and I have to go to work an emergency, this sucks, and more so since don't have access to PTS, I'll probably will have to bribe the IT guys so they authorize PTS as an approved site

There are people who have TPW as their top favorite story. I couldn't get past the first chapter. So I guess you love it or hate it.

Is anyone reading it? Kharizzmatik is another author who could almost make me risk an attack of WIPhobia!

I read a few chapters and decided to wait it til its completed. I can't decide if I really like it yet, or if I don't. The way she is doing the chapters, it is definitely intended to be cliffys at the end of each chapter, so it keeps me wanting to know where its all going, BUT at the same time that makes me dislike it. I think that is why I'm waiting for this one, I don't want to read chapter to chapter and not like it after waiting so long.

And OMGosling! I flove him to death. He changed my mind completely on beards as Noah in The Notebook - but still one of the only bearded man looks I find hot. Sometimes Rob pulls it off.

Personally, the problem I had with TPW was not the violence or darkness of it, but the bad writing. I have read darker books and stories, and they gave me the creeps and chills and made me cringe and cry. I am sorry to say that all this story did for me was make me laugh. It seemed forced, like the author kept creating more gruesome scenes chapter by chapter just to keep us interested. Does anyone undersatnd what I am talking about?

I have a new-found love for WIPs (that get regurarly updated, like this one

), because lately I tend to get bored with long completed stories. So I prefer reading something bit by bit as it comes out.

I other news, I actually tried a Bloody Mary last night. It was ok, but not my kind of drink. It isn't the kind of thing I would want on a Friday night out with friends.

But it can be the best hair of the dog at Sunday brunch! (extra spicy. My mom makes hers with Clamato juice, but I prefer to use V-8 for the extra nutrition.)

There was a lot of talk about Love Like a Hurricane on April 25 & 26 and on May 2. If you use the search function and put in "Love Like a Hurricane" for "this topic" you can see what everyone was saying about it.

I've read stories where it seems they keep adding more "stuff" just to keep the readers involved. I guess it is to get more reviews? It is a problem with posting WIPs I think. And some of it comes from Twilight - bad things keep happening to Bella but Edward always rescues her. There is a part of all of us who read these things to want to be rescued by Edward. Just saying. So the more often it happens? The better!

I actually LOVE reading WIPs - the excitement waiting for the update, the cliffies even though we say we hate them, one chapter for my ADD mind.... But then half the ones I was reading quit posting or were removed by FFnet and disappeared. I'd have to reread half the story to remember what was going on. And frankly? I can't even remember what they are now. 3 weeks between postings and I forget I am reading it. The WIP phobia started.

I still have a few I am reading. But many that I started and don't remember because the updates are so few and far between. So, I don't know what to say about it.
