Yeah, still coughing. To put vaporub on the feet, you have to remember to buy it. I keep forgetting.

But I'm doing tea, lemon, honey and whisky now. It tastes good at least

And if it doesn't taste good, just add more whiskey and pretty soon, you won't even notice it.

My family recipe uses Bundaberg Rum instead of whisky - that which does not kill you only makes you stronger!

I am sure that every Australian would have a bottle of vaporub in their medicine cupboard - maybe we're a nation of hypercondriacs!
Actually, Australians seem to have a lot of allergies because of our vegetation and environment, and I prefer the natural treatments better than popping a pill every day.

The other thing my mum used to do (and I do now) is to pour boiling water into a bowl, add a few drops of eucalyptus oil (can you get that overseas???) and then sit over it with your head and the bowl covered by a towel.

My mum grew up just after the WW2 and her family was really poor so they never went to the doctor, dentist - her father was a boot maker and he made the one pair of shoes each of them owned - so Mum used a lot of these old-fashioned treatments on us.

None of us are dead, so they must have worked!

Nowadays, I have one of these but I still prefer the towel over the bowl - might as well get a free facial while de-snotting!

I also have one of these - possibly the grossest things in the world! - and it helps to clean out the sinuses and reduce infection. I certainly don't look like this when I use it!!!

Mum used to make us stand in the shower and just cup warm water into our hands and snort it! These new whizz-bang things actually flush everything out - and I do mean everything. Be prepared the first time you ever use it!

I own a great face steamer. I got it for my sinuses - they get so dry living in the desert I was getting sinus infections without the normal stuffed nose. When all your teeth feel full of cavities? At the same time? Yeah, it's the sinuses. The steamer is perfect - without dealing with a hot pot of water. And? I love eucalyptus oil.

Okay so I found a small pot of generic vaporub in the back of the cupboard and am testing it on my feet right now.

Though I may need more whiskey in my tea.

So I finally got BD2 and started to watch it. So I'm trying to pretend Bella is not SAF and then there's Taylor Lautner. Yuk. And Jasper's hair is totally screwed up. He's blonde, right? Well not in this movie. Neither is Carlisle. I made it about halfway through before I couldn't watch anymore.

Can someone do a YouTube version of just RPattz? Because I would watch that

Boy, I'm grumpy when I'm sick LOL! Sorry about that. I need to find something good to read & nothing is really grabbing me right now.

I didn't even try to watch it, I just fast forwarded and stopped if I saw RP.... I think I saw it in 20 min or less; So sad that the movies went to crap. In my opinion they are just a waste of time and money!!!

Part of the problem I have with Bella in the movie is she is too darn skinny. Which makes her look worse. She's not what I think of when I picture Bella.

Maybe you're right though, more whiskey is the answer!!!! I really don't put that much in to start with just enough to make me sleepy. Good thing I'm a cheap drunk LOL!

Not everything I do is pervy.

In actual fact, very little of what I do is pervy... *le sigh*

Vicks vaporub on your feet (nice and thick and then cover with old socks) does some special voodoo magic thing - it kills a cold and fever!

I don't know how it works but it does.

If you don't do it soon enough and the cold/flu takes grip, then it also helps relieve the symptoms.

You can also put it on your chest and back, but it's super special on the feet!

DO NOT TRY IT ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I have a problem with SAF because I honestly don't think she can act... and what else is there? Oh yes that creepy baby! It gave me nightmares!

I think RPattz is in every frame of Cosmopolis. Just turn the sound off to watch. It makes as much sense that way.

I have to admit that I have used my special zip-thru feature on my DVDs to just watch scenes with Edward in them.

Well I actually liked Twilight the fist one.

Water for Elephants I have watched multiple times'.. I'm not disclosing how many times

I've watched Cosmoplis once, and I remember reading somewhere that only smart people can really understand it; I have to say I was extremely offended by that comment!!
I have to say my favorite parts of Cosmopolis were whenever he said F**k

OK, I just rubbed it on my daughter's feet, we'll see how it works. I'd try it on myself, but I'm hot and can't sleep in socks.
