where does he stay?

He flies into São Paulo and one of the plants he visits in Campinas and another is in Ribiero Preto. I would love to go to Iguacu. The pics hubs took were beautiful.  The land of waterfalls and I would love to zip line there.

I havent been there, but everyone loves it. My grandma just went there with some russians last year, and there is a natural habitat zoo. you get to see all the birds, and monkeys etc in the open. they all loved it.

Im originally from Sao Paulo, most of my family lives there. Best restaurants in the country are there. Actually, the best thing about brazil is our food. Forget samba and the beaches.
I promise that you can eat better pizza in Sao Paulo than in Italy.

That's me, I put sweetener in my coffee/tea and then have a piece of cake or a biscuit!  :D I remember leaded petrol  :D :D

Well being from the south, real sugar goes into tea and coffee. I eat diet nothing. It's hubs job to keep me fit. Ummmm that might be why I was Mia last night. He is boarding  a plane in an hour headed to Finland and Russia, no kids at home. I am definitely smiling this morning, but I will need a nap thus afternoon.  :)

Lots of chit chat about food, fic and drink :) awesome

It's like a book club meeting  :D

Cherry Pepsi is the only way to go. Coke is gross. Peanut Butter anything is win. Reese PB Cups are my fave. I do know that in Canada they are different from the US. We have different candy here. I don't think the US has Smarties... those are chocolatey goodness.

Sweet tea.. did not know what that was until I read it in a fic and had to google it. the ice tea we have here only has sugar in it. Cold tea kinda freaked me out a bit

I like the stuffed jalepenos... I do that with Red peppers. So yummy. Haven't tried with cheese just meat but I'm gonna do that

Grasping Darkness is my favorite vampward fic. I haven't read a lot since I found out there were other fic universes.

I'm still trying to find something to read but am very excited that Carano is pushing through and giving us more great stuff!

yeah. the original is with fresh lemon, sugar and the sugar cane alcohol.

but now we make it with every imaginable fruit. and you can also make it with vodka.

the more exotic the fruit the "cooler"it is. people like it with lychee, passion fruit, kiwi, mix of berries, tangerine.
actually any fresh fruit.

im not a fan cachaça ( the sugar cane alcohol), i prefer vodka.

Oh a hard lemonade?  Hubs said there were usually made with limes.  . . . . . . .
Just went and asked him. He said you call limes, lemons in Brazil . Lol
I would looooooove the tangerine one. I love orange rum and sprite.
Hubs also agrees with the vodka. Claims too much sugar cane alcohol leaves a headache.

I have the last two chp to read that posted last night as well as caged and a few other wips I have. I won't start that though until hubs is off to the airport and I am all alone, with washing clothes.

tell him to drink the caipiroskas (vodka ones) with mandioca frita. its fried cassava ( i googled it).
well we have many different cachacas, so it all depends on the quality of the one he had. its the same with vodka.

i mix it a bit, i call lemons the green ones, and lime the yellow ones. you can have it with both. the green one is the typical.

im of russian heritage, so im a vodka girl. unless we are talking of champagne. then i can be french.
ohhh frozen margaritas!!!! i want desperately to buy a margueritaville.

Yes it is the opposite in the US. Lemons are the yellow ones. Limes are the green ones. I don't care for margaritas, they are kinda sour. I don't want really sweet drinks either. I can do maybe 1-2 piña colada.

Hubs also mentioned that the dress code is different there too. Old, young, big, small, it doesn't matter but the pants must be skin tight and show off the a s s. is it a fad, or  always been that way?

I cannot imagine seeing mom in skin tight pants. I would be lmao.

The best margarita i ever had was in Chiquitos, London.
They had these huge  machine that made the ice so soft it seemed like you were having an ice cream instead of a drink.
I dont like it with the salt.

lol. really????is he talking about men or women?
if it is women then yes....

but it all depends on social class. poor people tend to dress with shorter stuff, tighter. more skin showing. dont ask me why.

it also has something to do with the heat.

Anyway, im the least brazilian person you'll ever know. i really dont fit in. First reason: i hate carnival, samba.
