another one i dont like is team bella.

I loved Closer, not crazy about California waiting and her other fics. Revelry was good, a lot like Dusty. But I totally see where the dislike comes from. She's an author you like or hate. No middle ground.

There are several authors I don't like so I feel you :)

same here. i think that closer and sexylexy the one that was based on Greys anatomys were the first fics i founced.

and i read a lots of  :poo: :poo: :poo: :poo: :poo: in my ff career.

i dont mind reading angst or tragedy, but im having a harder time reading ass.holes.
its a cruel world out there, i dont want to see ass.holes. being praised.

im out of the loop. since i quit twitter at the begining of last year. i already waste too much time reading fic. i rather read than spend it on twitter. it was taking my focus away from my studies

im not sure since i dont read her stuff, but i guess authors get coc.ky when they have a big following.
its like having too much money and power, some people just cant handle the responsibilities that comess with it.

What experience?
Short version. bored, joined a Twific Facebook group ( don't ask which one, not going there!) they started bashing a particular story and author, one poor ( read "sensible") member gave an opposite, well formed, opinion and they (include an couple of very well know authors) started "bullying" her, that is the only way I can describe it, bullying. Now, I couldn't just sit there and read all of this, it's just not my way SavyB, especially when this poor person hadn't said anything wrong or offensive or abusive, sooooo...I stuck up for her; *shrug* which just made things worse, as these women are clearly deranged, and I had to get down to their level and fight fire with fire but it stopped eventually, but left me feeling so unclean, but I would have felt worse if I'd just read all that :poo: and said nothing...I can't stand by and watch people being bullied whether it's in RL or online, no sirree..*shrug* But I'm never going anywhere The Devil's Portal ever again!

Did you know that with the fanfictiondownloader plug-in for calibre you can download all stories from an author at once?

I figured it out yesterday...

First you use "Get story URLs from webpage" where you put the URL from the authors profile page in.
It shows you all the stories the author has written.
Strg-A and Strg-C
Use "Add New from URL(s)" and there they are!

It also works with the communities, but only page per page.
