YES!!!! I had heard that she went ballistic that people were writing Ana/Christian fics and when Casea Major was going to P2P, EL went crazy and I haven't heard anything about that fic being published since. I know she (Casea Major) even had it on her blog with a pic, but it was gone after there was news that EL and "her people" threatened to sue or something.

Yep that's the one, I wanted to check out the Casea Major story, I heard it was much better written. I don't even know where to find the fic though.

YES!!!! I think I read somewhere that Fifty had become the best selling books EVER, so I'd imagine Fifty outsold Twilight.

The thing that bugs me the most about EL James and her people, having missed all the fandom drama, is the sheer cheek it takes for HER to issue takedown notices to other people. There was a Fifty fanfic that was going P2P, and it suddenly disappeared without a trace. Notices have been sent to companies doing "Fifty" themed sex toy parties, to a pron studio for doing a Fifty pron.

It just takes a fat LOT of nerve to make all this cash on someone else's characters, and then throw a hissy fit at other people doing exactly what you did.

With this I have to agree..I have no idea about the 'drama' if I hadn't read FSOG and Gabriel's Inferno I would never have discovered Twific so for that I can only give "thanks"...But the idea that EL is now protesting about someone writing FSOG fanfic a too ridiculous to contemplate.

Yep that's the one, I wanted to check out the Casea Major story, I heard it was much better written. I don't even know where to find the fic though.

Me too. I was searching for it everywhere, but nobody I know has it. Even here on PTS! There are a few posters who read the first few chapters and told us about it, but by the time we went to check it out EL went f ucking mafia and shut it down faster than a raid on an illegal whorehouse.

Any-one I've come across who mentions 50 is pretty shocked to find out how she began. I remember reading a comment on a news website about KS and RP possibly being cast for the film. They were all ripping saying that there was no way they fit the descriptions of the characters - I let them that was who they were based on - you can imagine the reaction.

However, without the feedback and support of her fans, she would be nowhere - undeserving witch.

i havent read where edward is an actor. i dont like actorwards very much. it feels too personal. im crazy i know.
but i keep thinking thats how the author fantasizes of meeting Rob.
