That's a good clip.  I might be in the minority, but I think his movies are fun.  It also made me wonder...is he the first singer to start dancing while he sang?  Didn't crooners tend to stand still (mostly) and sing?  Now of course, dancing around while you sing is required.

He walked me down the aisle in Vegas.  And serenaded me & my husband...after we did the Elvis vows.

So many new posts overnight! I have to go catch up with them all, I'm having the rest of the day in bed feeling sorry for myself. I got hit in the face by a piece of hail this morning and have a bruise of my cheek, but the placement is such that it looks like I've been dickslapped or had some kind of freak BJ accident. 

For some reason, this is known as turkey slapping.

There is as much a chance of Elvis being there as there is in me finding a groom. 

Yeah, I used to think that.  When I was young, I worked in an industry that was primarily gay young men or older Jewish married men.  I mention the Jewish because having been raised Catholic, they would not even think of introducing me to their sons who weren't gay.

By the time I went back to school, all the guys i worked with were married with kids.  And though some would have been interested in a fling, I just couldn't see it.

So, I wrote down what I wanted, decided I was ready and it took another 2 years and a job change to meet him.  It isn't a great romance, but we are best friends (with benefits - lots of benefits)

Now, I'm wishing I got hit by hail!  Probably won't do any good.  For some reason? I bruise easily everywhere but my face.  How do I know this you ask.... I regularly run into things, like the bedpost, in the dark, or open cabinet doors into my face.  It hurts, but so far? No bruising.

I'd say only nicer?  But really?  Only 2 of the designers I worked for qualified as "nice"  the rest were witches.  With a capital B.
