Ohhh.. there were a lot more than one. I used to read to the very bitter end and feel completely disappointed. So many times the summary grabbed my attention only for the language and grammar to let it down completely. Even after overlooking this as much as I possibly could, the direction they took the story in would make me lose interest and wish I had never started reading.

This ^ is me, but I don't have the good sense to flounce. I think I have flounced maybe two fics max, but have read dozens to the very bitter end and then wished I had stuck pins into my eyeballs instead and get annoyed that I wasted my time when I could have been reading something better.

Maybe, though, I'll stumble across the next WA or EP...but no suck luck yet!

That's what I said this morning! So it wasn't me (for a change)?

Work was...

work after 6 weeks holiday . The kids don't actually start back until Tuesday (Monday is our Australia Day holiday) so we have today and tomorrow as student free days to plan and prepare for the year. We got a heap of work done - schools are great places to work when there are no kids around!

As much as I whinge though, I am looking forward to Tuesday - it is always exciting to see the kids back at school for a new year.

Tomorrow, we spend the entire day developing an Arts program (music, drama and dance) for a teacher who can't teach, but we're stuck with for one day a week because the school where he is for 4 days each week doesn't care what he does so long as he turns up and babysits the kids.

Then, on the weekend, I get to do what I should be doing tomorrow - preparing for my own classes!

The new chap was lovely. Well done!

I liked the look of this one too.
I'm not brave enough to start it though - I know I would get sucked in and then get frustrated waiting for updates!

This is one of the WIPs I'm reading currently, it's good. It's obviously angsty and I'd imagine it's got a way to go until it's complete yet judging by the fact it's labelled B/E. I like it but I wouldn't say it's a must read, in truth.
