Started my 30 days, today...Lets see how I feel tomorrow.

Reading For The Summer by Camoozle. This has been on my TBR since I started reading TwiFics I think and so far I'm really enjoying it. I think I'm a sucker for a 'coming of age' tale.

I'm on my way! I'll bring the wine, you bring the cheese and we'll buy anything else we need when we get there.

Wait! No! We'll send our tribes of feral-wards to go hunt for us! Wearing nothing but a loin cloth!

Can't you use your skill to do a nice feralward manip?

Started my 30 days, today...Lets see how I feel tomorrow.

We'll be so fit when we get to the Mojave! Imagine the stamina we'll have - lucky that cave dwellers are only 19!

The workout is getting easier, but I'm feeling muscles that I didn't know I had - it was thighs today - front, above the knee, right where you feel it when you walk up a step.

Who knew I had so many steps at school?

And I realised that my 2kg hand weights are actually 3kgs - so feeling a bit chuffed!

Ha! I don't do manips. I'd love to know how (because yeah - I need another obsession!) but I'm sure that they'd turn out looking like these:

Whatever happened to Brendan Fraser?

And with thoughts of Brendan Fraser and Robert Pattinson wearing nothing but loin cloths, I'm heading to bed.

ok ladies I have a question for you.  How do you organize all our fics?  I mean i have a kindle fire,  I have over 100 pages on my amazon.com library.  I know i have some dups and not sure if all are on my kindle.  Those books dont include what i have on usb mem sticks.

Can i transfer from amazon to my computer?

And OMG i am such a Noob   :-[ .  I just found out it is best to use MOBI for the kindle and I love it.  I have been doing PDF.  I am tempted to resend all the fics that are in PDF as a MOBI.

Then only issue i see is that with PDF i can remove it from the device and still have it show up on the cloud side of my kindle and i can download as i need.  With mobi if i remove from device it is not on the fire at all,  which means i would have to go to amazon.com and send it anytime i want to start a new fic.  (hope that makes sense.)

Finished reading We Still Linger Here and loved it but the ending left me very confused lol!! So if anyone else has read it can you please let me know your theories? (I know someone here rec'd it but can't seen to remember who) Wrap it in a spoiler or pm me :-* thanks

Went back to see who rec'd it and it was:

I had to jump back on real quick to say that anyone who hasn't read We Still Linger Here should move it up their TBR list to 'next' or 'now' as it's not very long. This kind of fic renews my faith in Fandom and reminds me why I bother. It is so beautifully written and so heartfelt I have to say I'm shocked that this is the same author that wrote about dry humping while sleeping! Though actually, come to think of it, I should just be glad she has such range. But I prefer 107's serious stuff to her humorous (though what do I know; dry humping while sleeping might be a 'serious' condition) There are no Jerks, full of lovely, romantic, lemony, goodness (hormones again) rather than hardcore lemons and mainly written in EPOV. I'm not spoiling it any further, don't ask, I'm tired of having the 'is it HEA?' discussions; reading is a journey to discovery.

I have an iPad. I save the fics there, on my desktop and a pen drive ( you need to back up). I don't back up as often as I should tho.

I tried having two folders, one with TBR fics and other with fics I had already read. I got duplicated versions so I have up.

I also save first bu the fic name then the author. Cause unless it is an author I really like, or popular, I will or get their names. I barely remember fic names.

Also I only save fics that are complete. And ExB pairing with hea.
I just reached 1.000 saved fics.

And I don't really like reading books online. But iPad save PDFs on a PDF app. And books on another place. So they don't get mixed up.

Hiya, I just wondered if anyone had read Having everything and nothing by Heartlandgirl95?

I downloaded it last night.  I very nearly flounced on page 1.  I have read about 3 chapters so far. and it is killing me as it seems so immature and predictable.  The writing and grammar are not great either.

Does it get any better or should I give it the flick now?

Well I wanted to read this one but I'm currently reading Means Rea, after finishing The University of Edward Masen. And I put this one on the back of my long TBR list

Don't forget after downloading please press the Thank You button. It doesn't take too much of your time.

Mens Rea is next on my list and really I'm wondering if I should read the UEM as I've read Gabriel's Inferno? Has anyone read both and thinks it's worth doing?

Lauren, Lauren, Lauren...I thought we were buddies? You sent me a buddy request and I accepted. And then when I least expected it....yeah, the equivalent of a kick in the vejayjay! I worked out before work, first of my 30 days, felt fine, left my house, went into the office had two meetings, at the end of the last meeting, tried to get up off the sofa at a very swanky private members club and...couldn't! I fell back down into my seat like a geriatric, with a groan! The people I was with looked at me like I was nuts! Someone had to HELP ME! Jesus wept my rep may never recover as I'm not sure they believed my 30 Day Shred explanation..And tomorrow I'm expected to do it all over again...

Not-so-Big D and Astro, I told you! That workout will make muscles you didn't even know you had hurt! I genuinely almost cried trying to sit on the toilet the morning after as I just couldn't squat at all. Trying to do the workout that day nearly killed me, but Jillian's constant shouting made me carry on. It's worth it and I guess 20 minutes of sweating and flailing around is better than an hour on a treadmill!

I am laughing so hard now!  You don't have to do it again tomorrow you know.

I'm waiting to see what you all say at the end of 30 days.

Back to fic flouncing - I didn't used to do it but, some are so bad I simply can not continue with them.

I had high hopes for Having Everything and Nothing based on the summary only to be let down with defiantly, no butts,  this outta be good, pixie Alice and the ability to see someone clearly from the 22nd floor along with the view of Hollywood Town before I even finished the second chapter!

I always feel like a witch for criticising - but come on!!

Mens Rea is a good one.
