Aww, ok. I love New Moon, the book. The movie blew, I don't get why authors do this but if it's written well I'm good to go :)

Oh, I loved the heartfail and depression of New Moon.

Thank you ladies for the heads up on Unrequited, I'll be adding that one to the top of my TBR list....I love a good tragedy  ;D

yeah, i dont like the leaving for your own good thing as well. not to mention it so overly done.
but i guess this reasoning was new.

i would think your boyfriend would love that you are reading fan fiction. no new s.e.x. ideas you want to recreate? lol
Only Sabrina I know is this one :D

Well given how much you like Jasper, I imagine the epilogue outcome will be perfect for you and your Edward/Bella hating ways ;)

I don't hate Edward....I just like Jasper a bit better  ;D

I'll read any Jasper fic but prefer when Edward/Alice aren't made to be evil, whiney bitches.

But this fic sounds right up my ally, though I like it better when Bella bites the big one

Me too. I like when Edward dies. Not a lot of authors have the balls to do this.

Because they get bullied by reviewers who want fic to go a certain way. If an author writes a character death, esp e/b people flip out and want an alternative.

I just saw this a few days ago (can't remember which fic though) where a reviewer asked for an alternative b/c she was surprised and wasn't happy with how the author ended it. And I remember there was a big stink when Adair7 ended Grey with a death...and she ended up writing an alternative.

As long as it's labeled correctly (tragedy) I don't understand how people are surprised when there is a....tragedy.

The story "The Quiet One" You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login also has two endings. The tragic one the author wanted and an HEA. It was strange...

I've come to realise that I use to be much more flexible when I first arrived in Twificland; in my first week I started Dark Whispers by Oriana de la Rose which is a Jasper-Bella fic. Obviously being new I knew nothing about the propensity for authors to up and leave their s h i t incomplete but hey! At least I was open to more that just Edward, right?

And here we have the thing I least understand about Twific readers, how can you get so devoid of imagination that you attack an author about their own artist license. If an author has marked it as tragedy or has warned of a characters death then f u c k the hell off if you don't like it when it happens, and if you want a certain ending write your own God damn fic, shithead. As you can see it a heated subject for me, especially because so many writers leave/pull their stories because of this kind of behaviour so the imbeciles ruin it for everyone else. Who wants to read the same thing over and over and over again?

I did too, actually it was one of the better parts of the saga, though in the film it was ruined by...well a lack of acting talent, though the songs that were used for those scenes were good..

Okay, so I started Summer Vacation because all these people were rec'ing it as a WIP and it's been on my TBR  list for a while.  I'm not an angst hoor like some of you, but I'm feeling the need to brush my teeth and, well, take a shot of insulin or something, it is so damn sweet. Okay, I'm only about 6 chapters in, but I really want Bella to have a sudden horrific death.  I don't mind Sweetward however - LOL!

So have any of you read this and does it get better?  I guess as a WIP it would be totally readable.

Okay, temporarily flouncing to something else.   ;D

 :iagree: :iagree: :iagree:

With all of this.

And I cannot get over the number of fics (the jasper/bella ones seem to be worse for some reason) with a high word count, high reviews and haven't updated in a year or more.  :wtf: It sucks because most look really good  >:(

I'm reading this right now. It's sweet, but no brushing teeth needed. Or insulin.

I finished Pinky Swear again today and have now given up looking for a new fic to read.  I am, instead reading all the entries on the new FF competition.  I like to decide who might win but, I have never got it right in the past.  Maybe this time!

OK - I've read 7 out of 10 and can't do it any-more.  I look forward to the ones that will be made into multi chapter fics but, based on what I have read - I don't want any of them to.
