Ugh, not getting alerts for any postings! Dammmit!  >:(

There's a Dusty readalong tonight *looks at Demaris*

Just about to start Unrequited... I kept passing over this one, not sure why though. I think because the summary is stupid.

I read the last two pages and it seems complete.  There seems to be "closure."   I'll read it next and post a summary and let everyone know.

Ok, finished Schism. Here's the summary:

Summary: Everyone thinks Bella was killed shortly after Edward left her but 36 years later she reappears in Forks. Who attacked her? How's life been for the Cullen's? Where has Bella been? Will they be reunited? AU after Edward's departure in New Moon M LEMONS

It's not marked as complete but I believe it is.  The author could have intended to write more but it ends in a good place. And it's a good story.

Want to know if it's HEA or not?

I know that this is FanFic 101, but what exactly is a readalong and how do they work?

Okay, so I started Summer Vacation because all these people were rec'ing it as a WIP and it's been on my TBR  list for a while.  I'm not an angst hoor like some of you, but I'm feeling the need to brush my teeth and, well, take a shot of insulin or something, it is so damn sweet. Okay, I'm only about 6 chapters in, but I really want Bella to have a sudden horrific death.  I don't mind Sweetward however - LOL!

So have any of you read this and does it get better?  I guess as a WIP it would be totally readable.

Okay, temporarily flouncing to something else.   ;D

Link, please.

I know that this is FanFic 101, but what exactly is a readalong and how do they work?

It's when a group of people read the story together. Usually the authors are there as well for comments, questions etc. It's a good time.

It used to be on Twitter all the time, so it may be there or on their FB group? Not sure.

Isn't that uncomfortable? Doesn't that chafe?

On that note, fanfiction really increased my vocabulary. I didn't have to look chafe up, lol. :D
Perhaps I should look for some good fanfics for my son... he's bored out of his mind with his English lessons...

I hope someone can help me.  I am looking for a twilight fanfic where Edward is the legal guardian of Alice.  Bella is Alice's new teacher.  Edward and Bella meet when Bella sends home a letter.  If it helps, Edward also has a rage disorder and when he has an episode, Alice calls Bella for help.

Did not see a reply.  It is "When ever you call"  it is still up on FF.net

I think going commando is a lot easier for men than it is for women, especially if you're wearing something non-abrasive like those types of trousers. Plus he can't make us be pervy while wearing underwear, obviously!

Re-read Boy With The Read Sweater earlier. I wish there hadn't been that whole Alice/Jasper mental health side of it, I usually just skipped those bits to get to Sweaterward.

Also, has everyone here read You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login. I came across it today and I remembered how much I love this story and this Edward.

Woman, stop replying until I've got my editing sorted! I always think of things to add to posts so I do that and then you've already replied ;) I love Loner, but I wish there was an abuse free version or something. I love the fic, but I couldn't read those scenes again.

I started both stories but never finished them  :o

In Boy with the red sweater I couldn't get over Bella's noisyness. I'm sure I'll give it another try sometime...

A Change In Direction? I don't like that Bella takes his offer, so I stopped there. But perhaps it's not as bad as I think? Is Edward a nice guy? How much angst and drama is there? You could spoiler me... ;)

I like a lot of her stories but she isn't mentioned very much when discussing great fandom authors, I don't know why.

Bella's noisyness? and in A Change In Direction, Edward is adorable. Very sincere, very sweet and not at all sleazy like you'd think.

There's not a lot of angst that I remember, drama is resolved pretty quick.

Jayeliwood is the reason I got into reading English fanfics. I read a translation of Blind and the sequel was only started, so I got impatient... I never looked back.
