I also watched BD2 today and I cried at the end with the credits. Summit finally did something right with this film. I swear the credits were the best part of the movie!

I was the only one who stayed in my theater to watch the credits, which was good because I cried like I actually knew those people!  Public crying is exactly why I avoid going to the movies (that and  I'm too cheap to pay $4 for water).  I agree - best part of the movie & welcome back!

I flove that show!  But I'm worried about it's future since Glen Mazzara left.  :(

Speaking of zombie, I just read Flesh and Skin and really enjoyed them.  Never really thought of zombie apocalypse (the lead characters are not zombies though) and erotica in the same sentence, but the author, Kylie Scott, made it work.  I did like the 2nd book, Skin, better though.

I just finished the first book Flesh and it was really good. It was also my first zombie (serious, walking dead style) novel. Loved it! Thanks for the thumbs up on the second book. And yes, I was surprised at how well she made the subject matter and genre work together.

I loved BD2. Wow. Now I need a marathon Twi night. The best part was watching my hubby during the battle scene--he loved that part, but I think it let him down in the end (personally, I did the happy dance). :D

I started Blood & Glory last night and loving it so far (only 100 pages in atm).
I think I love the fact that Edward has a stutter as it reminds me of when I was a kid, I suffered so badly from one I had to go to a speech therapist.
Mind you the Nuns at my school said that my stutter was a curse from the Devil for being such a naughty kid.  :D
Little did they know, I only got worse the older I got - I suppose they did find out as I was thrown outta school at 15 for being pregnant - whoops.  :D :)

Ladies, do you use firefox and an adblocker? Mine doesn't work anymore, I'm looking for a new one...

I was using IE, and was having problems with PTS so now use Chrome with Adblock Plus for here, Firefox with Simple Adblock for ADF and IE for downloading FF.net and Flagfic, and for d/l'ing tv shows and movies.

These adblockers seem to do the job for me.

I just can't do wip's anymore.  Everytime i start one they stop updating  :banghead: and i get all pissed off.

I suffer from a severe case of WIPhobia - I break out in hives, shortness of breath, pick at my nails.

Nuh - can't do wips  :040:

I HATE HATE that!!! Who here ever heard that in real life??????

NO ONE!

Visit a few small country towns in Australia where nothing ever happens - everyone tells everyone else's stories. They ALWAYS start with "It's not my story to tell" and then proceed to tell everything - and embellish, embellish, embellish!

As a single female principal, my private life featured heavily in the gossip, even though I did nothing for them to gossip about! As much as it was annoying to be gossiped about, sometimes I just had to laugh about the stories.

I even ended up having to hang my washing under the house instead of on the line in the yard because of the stories that would fly when I washed my sheets or had an extra set of towels on the line! Fortunately, my fella at the time was a local and knew what they were like, and trusted me more than the grapevine.

You learn something new everyday.
I've only just started to know who he is since watching Teenwolf (the TV Show not the movie) and Arrow.
I thought I'd use this pic as my avi as I think it's a bit "clench-worthy!"  :P

Yep - I clenched when I saw it!

Am I the only one that think he looks gay?   :o :o

He's pretty. The pretty ones often look gay - doesn't mean they are...not that there's anything wrong with that  ;)

I couldn't be with a guy that was prettier than me though - if he has more products in his bathroom that me, I'm not interested!

Astro... I'm trying really hard to get that shit posted for you but my computer access and functionality is extremely sketchy at the moment and I can't upload at work  I have not forgotten and I hope you don't hate me and my slowness :(

MAte - I couldn't hate you! You created Customsward and finished telling Masen's tale!

I might be hating your computer a wee bit!  :33:

Don't stress - I know you'll post when you can - I am missing your input into discussions here though!

How long have you been living there??

When people will gossip around here they always start with: don't tell anyone I'm telling you this.
Never the bs it's not my story to tell.

I was devastated when I learned Matt bomer was gay. I couldn't fantasize about him anymore. Even when I see him on tv with a co star I keep thinking : he is not into it. He is missing the cock.

I tell the same to my lesbian friend, she told me yesterday that she dreamt (not sexy times dreams) of some guy she used to date, and I'm like: you are missing the cock girl.

I lived there for 4 1/2 years before I moved to where I live now in 2007, but every small town in Australia is the same, and being a principal puts you into a weird pseudo-celebrity type position. I'm in a bigger town now, and while the gossip at school is still there (and we get the "don't tell anyone" statements too), I don't actually live in that community 24/7 - so no worries if I wash my sheets during the week instead of on the weekend anymore  ;).

It is funny when I run into kids from school at the shops - especially the little ones. You'd swear I was the second coming of Christ! They get so excited and then get all shy when I talk to them (probably like we'd be if we met our boy Rob getting his groceries), and then the next day at school, they tell me that they saw me in the shops - every time I see them, and then their friends start telling me too.

Often though, the parents just want to bail me up and chew my ear off - they just want to gossip and see if they can get something juicy from me that they can impress their friends with. And they want me to control their kids while they're talking at me!

I try to avoid the shops closer to school!

One day, I'm gonna fill my trolley with lube and condoms and pineapples and masking tape and just wait for a parent to approach me!  :D

I'm missing the cock too! But I'm not gay - just lonely!

This is one of the reasons I can't see Matt Bomer as Christian Grey - pretty enough, but not hetero enough.

I kinda can - but I've never thought any Superman was really manly. Dean Cain? Definitely not 100% hetero!

But isn't Bomer only doing the voice in an animated version?

Every so often I remember that Neil Patrick Harris is gay - he does Barney Stinson so well, but Barney isn't really macho either - sleazy, yes, but not macho.

Australian men are much more manly than European men in general. When my dad first started dealing with Europeans in his work, they all seemed so effeminate, mostly because back then (80's) Aussie men didn't do fashion, or even wear suits unless they were going to  a wedding - and sometimes not even then. The Europeans we dealt with (Swiss, Italian and German mostly) were colour co-ordinated, carried man bags and were much softer spoken - and kissed each other in greeting! That shocked the shit out of a lot of people - just this week, I saw some footage of some European soccer players who are playing for Aussie teams. They saw each other, walked over, went on for the cheek kisses and then remembered where they were and did a hand shake instead.

We're a bit more cosmopolitan now, but Aussie men are still men's men, by and large. Unfortunately, still too much of the "boys don't cry" attittude.

Men here are also more macho, no kiss between them.

I think Bomer was competing with Henry Cavil.
But for me Superman  will always be Christopher Reeve.

I love Somewhere in Time. oh the music from it....
