Well written, I don't really consider it angsty, but it does deal with character death.
The story doesn't revolve around the death it shows how the family deals with grief and
go on with the business of living. E/B HEA
Anyone else read this? I'd be interested in hearing someone else's opinion.

I read it. I liked it. It wasn't fantastic. And it was short so it didn't develop as much as I would like.
But it was a good read.

I'm always up for some eye candy posting - birthday or not...but I'm in a lecture of community engagement to support children's learning. The lecturer, who has been flown out from the US for considerable costs, has just spent the last 10 minutes telling us about his love for a vanilla slice. Are these an Australian speciality? I'm surprised he is raving on so much about them!

Anyway, I'll give you my best birthday wishes now  , and a rain check on the eye candy until I get home tomorrow.

I wonder if I can make reading twific on my iPad look like I'm engrossed in note taking...

We talked about pet peeves in stories before, but I just got smothered with several of mine... 

Why, oh why do authors write "caNNon pairing" in the summary?
I always see Edward as the living cannon ball in my head then, crawling into the cannon and Bella holds the match  That simple n drives me nuts...

Then, everytime Bella was involved with someone else before, is widowed or something, then gets together with Edward... she always says: "I've never felt like this before, I love you more than I ever loved my dead husband..." That's so mean! That poor guy, not only did he have to die, he even never was allowed to be loved like he should have been by his wife. And why is Bella not allowed to fall in love twice in her life? Every relationship is different, every love is different but I just think that's taking being soulmates too far.

And a question, how do you like pregnancies/birthing scenes in stories?
I love stories with kids/pregnancies but I really don't like how some people write about them. Especally when they write in the AN "I've never been pregant, I've never seen a kid in real life but I didn't bother to do some real research or at least talk with my own mother, I just watched some TV, the Simpsons should know everything what I need to know..." (yeah, I'm exagerating but you know what I mean, right?) Some stuff is just downright wrong, even dangerous if someone equally ignoring reads it and believes it. Honestly, most fanfiction babies should be dead the way they are handled...

And sorry, but I still have to laugh at that bare chested New Moon one, with his abs airbrushed on. All the rest are awesomely sexy though! He looks fine, doesn't need the airbrushing, every guy doesnt have to have washboard abs.

ok Ladies,  I think I have a tough one for you.  I have these few lines from a story on my kindle. Apparently the whole story did not download properly and I can not figure out what it is from. 

So here goes...

The sooner i got my ass out to Washington State, the better.

And I was gonna give that woman a good goddamn talkin to for being such a pain in my NOT ALLOWED ass all the time.

So to speak.

I received one more text from her as I boarded the plane asking how my day was going and i replied that i didn't have time to chat...

Will call ya later...something to do.

I sent the text that was worded almost exactly like her note had been that she'd left me that morning, then turned my phone off and headed out t the Northwest Penisula to bring her ass home.

That is all i have.. UGH sooo pissing me off.
