Do you mean this one?

The Masque of the Red Death by Jeesiechreesie

Her blood would be mine. As would she. Once she begged, pleaded, demanded, and wept for my bite. And she would. The only question was how many would die first." Vampire AU. Mature audiences only. NO sexual abuse.

I never got around to read it, although it is on my (never-ending) TBR list... I will read this one next ;)
That's the one, I was just being lazy ;) It's a great horror fic, I love dark Vampward (especially when you haven't got a Bella simpering over him).

You are more than welcome any time, we can sit in my front room and oogle them out the window like the pervs we are.

As for the bushfires, we are quite close (well, the horses and other house is) but they've got it under control at the moment. Nothing as bad as what we've had to deal with in the past (Black Saturday anyone?), despite the heat they're not so raging due to the fact that it's early in the summer and everything isn't as dry as a tinder box yet, well, the grass is but the gums aren't. Give it another week or two and we won't be sitting quite so pretty.

Does your front room have air con?  ;)

The humidity up here seems to keep fires a little more under control than down south, but we haven't had any significant rain since July, except for one or two storms, but it's been so hot and windy that any rain is gone straight away. The smoke in Brisbane last night was like a blanket over the city and the temp just didn't drop.

All the best for the coming week -amazing that almost the whole country is in the same boat!

The dry weather also means sexy neighbour boy doesn't have to mow. I might have to start sneaking over and putting the sprinkler on in the middle of the night.  ;D

Here's what you do if you have to use your phone for extended periods:

1. Pick up phone.
2. Throw against wall.
3. Drink Vodka
4. Repeat constantly.

Ha ha - I couldn't agree more.  Although, not sure how well it would go down as I am sat in the office!  Just as I went to reply the damn thing froze up. At least you are back on a pc later today.

Me too - although my skills are limited compared to most of you, I am the techie nerd of my friends and family.

Mostly, that consists of downloading books, movies and TV shows.

Speaking of which, does anyone watch Arrow? It is all over the TV here - "coming soon" - but I know it's been on in the US for a few months. Is it worth downloading/watching?

(I know the main actor is worth watching - the ad has a clip of him shirtless that I may have paused once or twice  :57:)

Arrow is a pretty good show, and yes, the guy playing him is fuckhot. But the plot is pretty good too, although he does kinda irritate me, doing his best "Dark Knight" impersonation when he's in the Arrow persona, all voice like he's been gargling gravel or something.

For those not afraid of Wips:

Beneath The Surface
Author: My-Bella  PM
One summer, an internship in Africa, bloodlust, sharp teeth, and a boatload of fear are all that stand in the way of Bella Cullen landing a job at the Atlanta Aquarium - As long as she doesn't count cocky shark expert Edward Masen on her list.

I dont know anything about sharks, but it seems to be very well researched.
The only annoying thing is the nicknames each character have.
But its a good fic, not many cliches. if at all. Well developed.
No one is falling in love in the first chapter.

I think teh role of Robin practically ended his film career...."Stuck" on TV now!

YEAH!  Astro is home! I love coming on here in the early afternoon and reading you talking to yourself for page after page...Times Zones have never read so good!

RDMickey, for ever you've been saying that Edward in Grasping Darkness was your favourite Vampward. I started reading Grasping last night and I have to say he is definitely up there, and Grasping is a really, really, great fic, Kiya rocked it! So RD thanks for that...I have been selling Vampward short, out of all the fics I've read only a handful have been vamps fics; I'm going to rectify that.

Good luck with the up coming heat wave. I live in Sydney's western suburbs and it was a scorcher today with more to come tomorrow. I'm currently living in my mums granny flat with no air con so I've sent the kids to mums to sleep in ducted air luxury! My two fans from bunnings are trying to keep me and hubby cool atm.

I like the sprinkler idea! ;)

Bella is already a vamp here, quick read, told in 3rd POV, cheat fic and the angst is just delicious. I couldn't put it down.

I have a Samsung Tab 2 (10.1) and a Nook Color.  I use the Nook Color more than the Samsung tablet.  I bought the tablet more to read PDF docs for school.  The only problem is it is a little big to hold and use.  Probably if I hadn't got the Nook, I would use it more.  Then again, maybe not.  Magazines are better on it.  I don't play a lot of games so I can't really say....other than solitaire.

The Nook is better for email, fanfiction and well, searching for fanfiction.  But mostly, it is a little too locked down.  You can't access the Amazon App Store with it  The Amazon App Store is great, plus there is the Free App of the Day (FOTD) which can be amazing.  Or suck really badly.  The Samsung will access the Amazon App Store.  The other great thing about both is the ability to use MicroSD cards. This can add up to 32GBs of extra memory for things like movies or, I don't know, fanfiction maybe?

Personally, I would love a Samsung Note, though I'm hearing mixed reviews as to whether it works the way it is advertised.

So really, if you are going to mostly read with it, I recommend the 7" tablets.  If you are watching movies, playing games, and reading magazines or newspapers on it, 10" are better.

My husband has an iPad, which he likes.  My biggest complaint is the cost versus the memory.  Most movies are around 1.5 GBs for a 2 hour movie NOT in HD.  And there is no place for an SD card to expand it.   But iPads are fairly easy to use.

Hope this helps a bit.....
 ;D

It does help, thank you!  :-* :-*

I was seriously considering a Nook until I got to the fact that it was the B&N app store, that was a big turn off. If I would get android, I def'y want access to the android market. I just didn't see as many apps available thru the Amazon market vs. Google Play. But I could be wrong, I didn't spend a lot of time searching either.

I like the fact that fanfic can be downloaded directly, though I think I'll still need to do my library and music maintenance on the laptop

I stumbled across her Purple Banana Hammock fic and was hooked immediately. Yet to read Departures because it finished after I went away but it'll be the first I flagfic when I get home.

(At the airport now...)

TheFicChick's Purple Banana Hammock is fuuunny.
I would rather cuddle then have sex.  If you're good with grammar, you'll get it.
