OTB (Obsessedtwibrarian) has written many Twilight stories.  Some are canon, some non canon and she also has some original stories.  Her writing is great,  I am sure if you choose to read one of her stories you will enjoy it.  OTB's site is FWAR (Free Writers and Readers) and  her stories are all on FWAR, a really great site which has pdf's available for the stories so no need for downloaders.  This site is small and friendly and joining is very easy.  There is also Fiction Pad if you want to read OTB's stuff on there.

The stories I am reccing here are the non canon ones about Michael and Daniel, both OC's.  The stories are centred on these characters and although these stories are spin off's of the Twilight fic In Search of Forever, they are AU and do not have any of the Twilight plot in them and only the occasional mention and short appearance of the Volturi in The Murder of Mariasha and The Birth of a Friend.  For those of you not into m/m read no further.  For those of you that do read it, there is a small amount of m/f in the first two stories.

The Michael and Daniel stories are all outtakes from the canon story about Alice called In Search of Forever (44 chapters at present) and are set back in time prior to the start of In Search of forever. 

The reading order is as follows: The Murder of Mariasha, The Birth of a Friend, The Pyramids, The Great Sphinx, Karnak, Cairo and finally This Has To End.  The outtake Destiny won't make any sense unless you have read In Search of Forever.

So if you fancy something different, give them a try.   

Saw that people are still searching for the elusive Jasper/Bella story on different forums and thought maybe someone here had found the story or knew that someone mixed up some of the details and knew the correct story.  So here is the summary that I found posted:
Bella meets Jasper while he is on leave from the military, army, he's a Major. The first chapter is in her view, she is on the beach taking a vacation that was "forced" on her by her friends Alice and Rosalie. She is going to be teaching at forks high with Alice.

After a week or so of fun time with Jasper, she sees him off but doesn't get any of his information, goes home, ffinds out she is pregnant, has the baby, she stays with Alice, I believe. Emmett invites Jasper to come home with him when they get another leave, when they arrive for the big homecomign party, Jasper sees Bella holding a little girl, walking past the hallway from where he is standing, follows her to the nursery and asks her if he is too late, she then introduces him to his daughter, Abigail or Amelia (can't remember the name).

He stays in the army, retires as a Lt. Col.; he and Bella end up with 8 kids, I believe, their first daughter goes on to marry Alice and Edwards first son. M-rated, more than 25 chapters I think. It is completed.

I am beginning to feel a little like Captain Ahab, don't think I'll ever find this one.  Hope everyone has been having a great time with all the great FF out there.

Thanks for keeping on trying Jonasg, maybe one day someone will recognise this and give us the title/author.  An upload would be a miracle.

I tried to find The War Inside by Sparabella, unfortunately with the same result.

I have been trying to find this one too!!!!! If we can get a name or author I'm sure we can track it down. I am going CRAZY trying to find it. This sucks that we can't find it!!!! I so want it.

A quick question are you the author Kim Ginsberg b/c I love your stories if you are.  They are awesome.

The last one I completed WAS JB LOL It was Eight Crazy Nights

 I am looking for the title and author to this Jasper and Bella story.  Jasper is in Forks and he has broken up with Alice. He feels that he can't love anyone because of his past involvement with Maria,vampires,etc.  The thing I remember about this story is he meets Bella at an old carnival on the outskirts of town.  They always meet up at a broken down carousel.  Any help would be appreciated as this is a really good story.  Thanks Paula

Don't know if it is the story you want but Whitlockswan wrote a story called Take Me Back To The Start that has an old abandoned carousel in it, but Jasper didn't break up with Alice in it, Alice was killed along with Edward by the Volturi.  The story has an unfinished sequel called Make This Go On Forever, also.
