Twilight Fanfiction Non Canon, AU, e.g. not the usual pairings - just so we are clear this means stories that do not have as lead pairings such Edward/Bella, Rosalie/Emmett or Alice/Jasper. Or as the dictionary says about non canon "A word used by those who write fanfiction. It refers to a pairing etc. that was not promoted in the original work the fanfiction was based on." There are Jasper/Bella or Bella/Emmett or Edward/Jasper fics here but feel free to add your own non-cannon stories.

As for rudeness, well the author of other fic before Losing My Religion was so childish, demanding and swearing, I don't mind swearing don't get me wrong, but it was just to much for me, so in compare arwen01 seems not so bad

No, I mean she was rude to me. I ask her for clarification about something minor in the plot and she more or less told me I was too thick to understand her work.

I've read everything from Austen to Solzhenitsyn, Kafka & de Beauvoir, so my understanding cannot be that lacking. My urge to tell her to go do herself was strong but decided to just leave it.

I always view things like this by thinking that the person is having the worst day of their lives and just walk away. You did the right thing. On a different note, I kind of remember starting to read Elemental Goddess a year ago or so but stopped b/c it had not been updated in awhile(I like the longer stories), but it is being updated again, so I'm going to give it a try.

I think you are right and working for lawyers has taught me to be cautious what you say in writing but there is never an excuse for rudeness.

Thanks for asking, I like it - excellent writing, interesting and deep characters, dialogues that make me stop and think. I'm in the beginning still, even the main character is not there.
The only thing that saddens me it's the final.

I just finished reading that today and I'm so disappointed. I had a feeling that it's all over the place, not much is explained, too much happens and the plot twist in the end is one of my biggest pet peeves.

And never, not once is that hinted as a possibility in that story. I really didn't like it.

Kim Ginsberg writes Jasper/Bella AHs. If you think they are good is up to you

I like them, because they are fluffy romance with not much (if any) angst. Brain candy

and sometimes thats exactly what I want to read.

I wasn't real pleased with Losing My Religion either. Now, I can't remember what it was about (so it made an impression 0_o ... ) but I remember being confused and disappointed. I'll have to skim it again to get the gist of it.

Time to vote for the Non-Canon Awards.

I've got a few stories listed in different categories. And there's lots of others besides me.

What bums me out is some of my nominations didn't make the lists. Like my favorite OC is BetterinTexas' Ty Gavin. Dude cracks me up.

Thank you, I will check Kim Ginsberg. I'm sorry that Losing My Religion turned out to be a disappointment, it started good IMHO of course, now I'm sure I not will continue reading it. It better not waste my time on this and read Kafka's novels that Caro recommended me.

Yes, I really liked the beginning, I pictured a very different story going from there, like Jasper recruitiing Bella for his army against Maria, not realizing that she is his mate and Bella being very hurt that he just used her, for example... but noooo... grr
And I'm still not sure how all of what she wrote in the first chapters fits with the ending... but then she wrote she just fell out of love with Twilight and Twilight fanfic before she ended the story...

Don't apologize for rec'ing it!

We all have our personal favs that noone else likes

and I'm sure I have rec'ed a story too when I started reading it only to realize later it turned bad...

Anyway my taste in fanfiction is strange, I tried to read An Unobservable Entity by Mortissues twice, second time was after reading the ecstatic reviews and still can't even finish first chapter, but I really enjoyed Rosalie's Baby.
