Twilight Fanfiction Non Canon, AU, e.g. not the usual pairings - just so we are clear this means stories that do not have as lead pairings such Edward/Bella, Rosalie/Emmett or Alice/Jasper. Or as the dictionary says about non canon "A word used by those who write fanfiction. It refers to a pairing etc. that was not promoted in the original work the fanfiction was based on." There are Jasper/Bella or Bella/Emmett or Edward/Jasper fics here but feel free to add your own non-cannon stories.

Last night I read Believe by paradise in me. It wasn't bad, but I didn't care for it. I'm finding more and more types of stories I don't like. I don't like stories where Bella and Edward are still together and she falls for Jasper and cheats on Edward with him. I always said I didn't like the ones that demonize Edward to make him bad, but I think I prefer those to good Edward essentially getting screwed over and hurt by Bella. I like stories where Edward is dead, kind of jerkish but not flat out evil, or just not a factor because he's not around.

Then I started Eternity Games by tamilya, and it started out positive, and different, but then Jasper catches up with Bella, and, even though we learn they are mates, I just feel it all goes way too quickly between them, they are sexxing it up the first night they meet each other again. I read to see them fall in love, even if they are mates, I need to feel that love grow.

So I'm back to hunting something.

Read some silver drip today. Won't be reading any more, not my thing. Story idea's were good but was rushed, not explained well and the spelling mistakes drove me mad. She does the "shuttering" thing which annoys the hell out of most of us.

Hey guys, how do you sort your fanfics?
I have the problem that I not always remember the story from a fic by reading the name of it. And sometimes even the summary still make me think.
So how do you guys sort it out that you remember which story is which?
I have hundreds and really need suggestions. I saw in Calibre that you can put a comment to the story like a summary for example. But I am not quite familar with Calibre.
So any ideas?

Sounds great, but I have no idea how to get the plug-in. (I did wonder if this would work where Flag won't ie Jacob-Black-n-Pack). The other great thing about Calibre is it lets me read any format so I don't have to convert, but it can do this as well.

I still stick to my old method, cos I am a bit ocd with books. I have them all in folders under the pairing or if there is a lot, under the author. Like you said, you can't tell from the title/author if it's the story you want and with my poor memory I have no chance of picking the right story if someone is looking for it, especially if I read it a long time ago.

It has taken me a while to get the hang of just putting the books into Calibre and getting data for them and creating different libraries. I love getting the covers, you can put anything you want on there and a lot of the fanfic's don't have one so I go look on Google Images. Very childish, but I love the bright colours!

I don't know anything more about the plug-in, it was just something I read on one of the other threads. Some of the others are really computer savvy and may know about this and how it works. I know about pulling your hair out trying to find something. I have two stories floating around in my brain, but no author or title for them. Have tried searching with key words from parts of the story I remember but no luck.

I am fairly sure one of them is a well known one and I have it saved, but can I hell as like remember what it is.

I know what you mean.
Eternity Games has such a great beginning. I really love the start. But as you said before, after their meeting everything went to fast. It would have been much better if it developed slowly.
I still have the story on my fav list. But ONLY because of the beginning of the story. I just love the moments from Bella with Victoria until the meeting in the woods when the four come together and Jasper chases her.

But yeah, I just wish the author had written their falling in love moment better, slower and not just one night and bam.

It's the number one pet hate for those of us who hate spelling mistakes. It's been mentioned on the other threads loads of times. When an author is talking in a fic about someone shuddering they mean shaking, but instead they put shuttering, which is metal roll down protectors for windows!

Very sad. Cause I think it is really an amazing story. Different but yeah the twist between Edward, Jasper and Bella isn't everyones thing. Normally I dont like such stories too but with this one it is different.
I felt really bad for Edward because he is such a good guy in this story. It happens not often that I wish Bella could be a twin...

Now I get it.
But yeah I find many such mistakes in stories. English isn't my fist language but I still see the mistakes and sometimes I can just shake my head about the most ridiculous spellings. And often it get that worse that I really cannot continue reading because it annoys me.

You are not on your own in this, many of us feel the same. A lot of stories have been flounced because of the spelling and grammar. Honestly, I don't know why some authors can write a good story but not use the spellcheck. Doesn't make sense

Anyone tried anything by silver drip? The summaries for her stories make them seem really good. Worth a read?

I like her. lol Sometimes I don't dare to tell you what stories I like, because most of you flounce them.
But I'm pretty patient, don't care much for grammar or spelling errors, as long as I can understand what the author wants to tell... I don't like cheating stories and I hate nonconsensual kink or abuse stories without warning in the AN.

I'm following her story Natural Order : You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login but I'm not sure if it stays canon or goes Jasper/Bella. It's a clever idea behind, pretty unique.
What I like about her most? She answers every review, discusses her ideas, answers my questions. I love that.
