Um, I have a question for the gals and guys here... Have you ever read a story and really enjoyed it. You have either finished or it hasn't updated in a while then you go back and re read for pleasure or to catch up then think "Why in the heck did I like this story in the first place?"  :(

I've come across a few that I had a 'WTF was I thinking?' and I feel horrible because I hadn't read that many fics and was green around the gills. Now that I've read so many stories, I'm starting to think I've become a story snob :(

Is it just me?

There's a few, but I only started reading ff in 12/10 - my first was The Plan, my second MOTU.  But I will say there's a lot of things I've started but got bored with & never finished :P

I sometimes wonder why I'm reading a story while I'm reading it the first time, but I tend to go back to only those stories I truly LOVED.  So, based only on my personal experience...it's just you!   :)

Ok, guys I need help trying to find a story that I can't remember the name or author.

Bella was dating Paul and they had a daughter.  Bella moves to New York with her daughter and her boss is Rosalie.  Edward is Rosalie sister and also works there.  He is a player and in the first chapter he is screwing Lauren on the conference room table when the Bella's daughter knocks looking for her doll.  Bella and Edward fall for each other, but Tayna, Paul and Lauren are trying to mess it up. 

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm just interested.....what was the first fanfic you read?

I first read Cocktails & Dreams.

I found a link to a story called The Forest for the Trees on a fan site called Rob's Closet and explored.  The I found the Golden Lemon Awards and read Last Tango in Forks and have been hooked ever since.

It's really inconsiderate that you have to interrupt the reading to do all the boring stuff so I'm feeling your pain but I must admit that although I've never gone back to reading and wonder why I liked it.  But in saying that I have read 3/4 of a fic and then started to wonder where this was going because it started off so promising.  That frustrates me.
