I am looking for a fic that I read a long time ago. Edward, Bella and the rest of them are in College, it starts off with them graduating. Basically Bella is in love with Edward, and while he "loves" her too but he constantly uses her and then breaks up with her to be with other girls. Finally she has enough and after seeing him with another girl at the graduation she breaks it off for real and ends up with James. A little time goes by and Edward realizes that he made a mistake, they end up working at the same hospital and he realizes that James is abusing her and he tries to win her back/ save her from James. Any help finding it would be greatly appreciated.

I saw you request this earlier. Unfortunately, I have no answers for you, however since you are new, I thought I would mention just a few things. Wondering if anyone can remember the name of this e/b fic, I dont remember to much but here goes....

I think these are some points in the fic???

Bella starts working for edward or somewhere in the building he has his company or where he works i think alice also works there or owns part of the company.

I think edward asks bella out but she declines and then she runs into him at a show with his date i think it was victoria and bella was there with sam??

There is some kind of gala or ball or something and edward dances with bella and then his date (victoria or Tanya??) comes up and steps on bella borrowed dress and it rips and I think she runs out.

some other points in this fic i think are.. bella has friend who lives on a ranch or something and bella goes there when she runs away from everything, there is also a house that she has fell in love with and come to find out that it is actually edwards house.
also bellas roommate is angela and the dress that she borrowed that was ruined was a dress that i think rosalie designed.

If any of this sounds familar please let me know, for some reason i kept thinking it was black silk tie but its not.

That isn't necessarily very easy. If I know ahead of time it is very angsty, I will immediately back it up with a funny lighthearted one. But I have had some real doozies over the years that were WIPS and I would be in a funk for days. I didn't want to read anything. Now I have kind of conditioned myself to keep reading because I want to be engulfed into another plot to get that one off my mind.

Some really good light-hearted, quick reads and funny (so no drinking while reading) are the following:

Bella and Jasper are siblings during the Civil War. Jasper is changed by Maria, as per usual canon. Weeks or a few months later Bella is changed by one of Maria's rivals and they are now both members of vampire armies. Neither one has any idea the other is a vampire.

Fast forward to Forks where Bella shows up as the new golden eyed student. She's been alone since she escaped the army. She smells vampires all around the school but when she sees Jasper either in the cafeteria or outside the school, I can't remember, she runs and jumps on him. Alice freaks out thinking that Bella is trying to steal her mate. Jasper introduces Bella as his blood sister and they all go home.

Turns out that Bella is also an empath and can control her power much like Jasper.

Hi Lucy, yep the pain in my eye is so significantly less, (at least I don't want to pull it out the red hot branding iron anymore) it's just really red, and healing thank goodness. Thank you for asking, I hope someone has the answer to the burning question too. I really want to read it but that type of violence is a hard limit for me.
