Two stories I keep checking for updates, Irreconcilable Differences and A Woman Scorned. Sigh.

A Woman Scorned will probably not update. I don't think she is writing anymore. Unless she is, I haven't checked her FF profile lately. Totes sucks

I really liked that fic and some of the ideas that Bella put in her book were awesome

Ditto! I closed my RL account on facebook a few months ago but then opened one for fics only so I can get rec's. I have zero friends and ppl from my RL don't know about it. It's perfect

I got tired of going to look at my FB account and having it full of people I barely knew posting stuff I didn't care about. So I dumped all but my closest friends & family. Mostly for the family pictures.

Then I opened one under Ellachanted for fanfic purposes. It seems you can't follow the rec sites without an account.

Also? I tend to be reading about 3 or 4 stories at a time, not including WIP's. And the fact that all the characters names are the same? LOL!

Tell me about it! I do something that makes it even more confusing. I read stories with similar storylines at the same time. Now THAT really gets you confused.

LOL! My biggest problem is that I read a lot on my phone. Only when the battery dies or it crashes? Yeah, I lose all the web pages I had open. And then my lack of memory kicks in. Sigh.

Werrrrd! That's why I love firefox. When my computer craps out it saves all my tabs. I try to read on my phone but it hurts my eyes. Toooo small. Aging sucks, tis all!

That's too bad - I really liked that one. Though I only read the first chapter before I realized it wasn't updating & put it on my watch list.

Oh the drama is everywhere, facebook is even worse, I closed my account there, too.

I originally got on twitter to keep up with authors. Then all the bs started happening and I just had enough. There's enough crap and stupidity in my RL I don't need it in FF land or with people who hide behind their computers just to bash.

I don't think she will update. I know a lot asked her and she doesn't reply.
I loved how she always asked the readers not to get any ideas

I wish I knew what happened. Did she have BS reviews and/or flames? Did she lose interest??? I remember her saying she was finishing it then going to post it all at once. That obviously didn't happen

It actually is in the history if I remember to look there.

My computer screen is too big to comfortably read for me. Though I guess I can set to half page, change the brightness, etc.... But it seems like too much work. I did break down and get a Nook tablet to read fanfiction on. But I still lose the web pages when the internet program crashes.

I don't know , but I remember someone mentioning that after she returned she was begging her Beta to work with her again. I guess that didn't work out well, but still she could've gotten another.

Same here and that's how I started....deleted more than 200 people off my friends b/c I just...didn't care about their grocery trips and weekend chores. Then I just got so completely bored with all of it that I deleted it for good. And I haven't missed it at all. I like the Angst hoors and fic hunters so those are the only reasons I even signed up under my ffn name.

Yep. The constant one upping and jealousy is sick. Get over yourselves, your life must really be crap if you get off on hurting people and ruining friendships because they are so insecure. No thanks. I miss some of the people I met on there but I wouldn't go back.

Well, my laptop is pretty big too - it has an 18" screen. So it's a pain to move it. But the screen on my netbook is too small when you take into account all the program borders.

So the Nook works well. But Firefox isn't a choice for Internet. I use Dolphin because it is better than the standard program, but it still crashes more than it should.

Firefox in general sucks but I like that it saves the tabs I have open. I usually use chrome cause flash is built in. It never works on Firefox...

Edward fell off a cliff and into the ocean while out hiking with Emmett. His body was never found and Bella never accepted that he was dead. A year later, Bella returns to the town near the spot where Edward fell from the cliff and almost immediately runs into Edward at a local store. Edward goes by a different name and doesn't recognize Bella. He is engaged to the Tanya (I think), the store owner's daughter. The store owner and Tanya seem to hate Bella immediately. Part of the story is told from Edward's point of view. He doesn't remember anything prior to the previous summer when he had a "swimming accident." After his fall from the cliff, Edward was found floating in the ocean by Esme. Esme had lost her son (also Tanya's fiancee) when he had drown the previous summer. Edward looks almost exactly like Esme's son, so when he doesn't remember who he is, she and the whole town pretend he is Esme's son. Bella triggers the return of Edward's memory. Tanya's mother tries to attack Bella because she doesn't want her daughter to lose another fiancee. In the last chaptre or epilogue, Edward and Bella are married and Esme is at the wedding as his mother because Edward had lost his real mother when he was a child.

I know I read this, years ago, but can't remember anything about the title or author. I searched using amnesia and couldn't get any results to come up.
