If I remember right, Nikki Reed bleached her hair for the first film, then refused to do it for the rest, because it damaged her hair. They recasted Victoria, they should have re-casted her, too, if she didn't want to keep her commitment. I still find it hard to believe they couldn't find a single blonde actress (natural, or otherwise) to play Rose.I know the chocolate orbs thing has been done to death in fic, but I really don't remember how big a deal was made out of it in the books. Weren't they written from Bella's POV? So she talked about her own chocolate orbs?lol!
You are right!! It was in bloody Midnight Sun that Edward started off that whole chocolate orbs palava....I totally forgot where that came from. And I totally agree with you about Reed, how could she have been more important than the authenticity of the film? She was hardly a 'star' coming into the project, and it set a bad precedent because then Elizabeth Reaser decided she wasn't changing her hair either....I thought I must have missed something when an unchangeable Esme was suddenly a brunette! Insane. Didn't they re-cast Victoria because of a mix-up in shooting schedules, she was on another film or something?
I heard that Victoria got recast because the original actress was bad mouthing the company.
I heard the scheduling thing too, there was some kind of unexpected overlap or something, so rather than shooting other stuff for a few days, they booted the actress.Joke's on them, I've seen Rachel Lafevre (or however you spell it) in lots of tv stuff since then, particularly that Under the Dome show that airs in summer. For me, the only ones who looked halfway close were Kristen, Rob, and Ashley. Ashley was too tall, but otherwise, I thought she was ok. Apparently there were no blond actors and actress in all of Hollywood willing to do this movie though. Weren't Rose, Esme, Carlisle, and Jasper all supposed to be blond? And the wardrobe sucked too, Edward was supposed to be a real good dresser, cashmere sweaters and nice leather coats and slacks, and in the first movie he had on jeans and a plain grey tee and a boring jacket!

I thought Nikki Reed got the part of Rose because she was the first director's stepdaughter (or the daughter of the first director's boyfriend). She was also "best friends" with Kristen Stewart. Then everyone who signed up had to agree to allow the studio the option to make them do all the films.
Sorry I should clarify that that is the average price for two people in a local cinema if you go into the West End then it can cost £10 more, and forget iMax! ...and that is before you start adding popcorn, drinks or a hotdog (which I can never see a film without)
What is P466 and P250 mean??Here matinee price is $9.50 and late afternoon/evening price is $11.50.
NB: Fleur was robbed!!
Am from the Philippines, so P is Php or Philippine pesos. P250 is about $5.50. We only have one price, regardless of the time of showing. Cost only differs depending on the movie (blockbusters/popular ones are at P250, otherwise it could be just P200 though that's rare), and the theather (IMAX, 3D) as reserved seats is the norm in 95% of theaters in Metro Manila for quite a number of years already. The only time a diff price is given for matinees is for plays or live shows, never for movies.
I did hear tho' that she and RP had a fling, not sure if that was before or during Twilight.
What does NB mean again? I had a feeling Ben Haenow would win beca) they were all milking his sob story about him being a poor, nice guy who lives with his momb) he seemed to need whatever prize to be won more than Fleurc) even if Fleur didn't win, the likelihood she will get a record deal is higher than Bend) didn't want to bring up the race issue but it is a reality that people still have to contend with. It's like Kris Allen winning over Adam Lambert in American Idol. Clearly, Adam was the better singer/entertainer but he is gay and some may not be comfortable with that. Guess he has the last laugh as he has more of a career than other AI winners, including Kris Allen. I do really wish they offer Fleur and Andrea Faustini record deals as well. Would definitely want to hear the final 3 in the radio here.
I heard that about RP & Nikki as well, dating during Twilight. Rumors were its why Kristen and Nikki stopped being friends... Kristen went and started dating him knowing it was Nikkis Ex.
NB mean's note (pay attention) well (latin/Italian Note Bene) its used to call attention to what is written after it.I don't know what Fleur or Ben's back story is because I'd watch exactly 3 episode two of which were the semi and final but I was under the impression Fleur wasn't exactly bathing in elk's milk either? But Booked I have to 100% agree with your assessment that unfortunately minorities ( race, sexuality, disability) tend to win in less in this kind of competitions. But luckily with X Factor the losers tend to fair better than the winners, look at One Direction, can anyone even remember who actually won X that year? As you do....
I miss Kevin. I guess that's just my Buffy nostalgia talking, lol!
Nikki was one of the first to be cast. Catherine picked her right away to be part of Twilight. Her and Nikki co-wrote the indie film Thirteen together, and Catherine was "amazed by her talents" *hahaha.. she talked about it in some interview.
Anyone else having trouble getting onto ffn or is it just me?
