demaris - while I am thinking about it - Criminal Minds had a spinoff the second half of one of their seasons called Criminal Minds:  Suspect Behavior with Forest Whitaker which was good.   The last episode (I think there were 12 or 13 episodes) was a cliff hanger (they were expecting to be picked up for the next season and then got cancelled).  The last scene shifted to black and a shot rang out.  You're left not knowing if the suspect is shot, Forrest Whitaker is shot (he'd offered himself up as a hostage so that one of his people could go free) or if the shot is wide - goes into ceiling or into the floor.  I was so pissed off, I started yelling at the tv.   Regarding movies - I haven't been to the movies recently but the last time I went the ticket, bottle of water  and a small popcorn was $20 approximately - maybe a little less.  Since then, I've found out that at Cinemagic, I can get in on a senior citizen discount which at the time was $5 but it could be more now.

That's the one!!  Perfect Bella/Ana.

At least then when she becomes a vamp we wouldn't all have had to cross our fingers behind our backs while pretending that she was beautiful  :o

LOL! What's funny to me is that KStew can look very pretty. But whatever they did in BD2 made her almost ugly.  I never did get that.  :P

Maybe she's not naturally photogenic so you have be careful with lighting and camera angles? There are some people that no matter what the camera loves (standing on their heads they'd look beautiful) I don't think Kstew is one of those...it's the chin.

Can you believe it! It cost £25 to go to the cinema these days!!! It has to be a huge, blockbuster, 3D, Gravity type film to get me to pay to watch, as those do need a big screen to get the full effect but otherwise my 42' does quite nicely thank you!

OMG!!!!!! I'd never go to the movies if it cost that much!! Whoa! [emoji47] [emoji45] [emoji46] [emoji47]

OMG! that's crazy expensive! Here, it costs P250 in a nice movie house (reserved seats) or equivalent to about £3.57. Well, considering the minimum daily wage here is P466, it is still expensive. Which is why pirated movies are rampant here. At P30/dvd, it is a steal.

How much is it to watch a movie in the US now? Last time i watched in a theather there was in 2001. It cost $10/head. Good thing my 2 yr old was free so she went with us and we didn't have to find a babysitter.

What is P466 and P250 mean??

Here matinee price is $9.50 and late afternoon/evening price is $11.50.

I Think she was much prettier without the makeup and when she weighed a few more pounds. She got so skinny in RL right before filming BD that she was kind of ugly. Though I don't like to say bad things about other women's looks, the need to get so thin is not flattering to the face.  When she weighs more, the pointy chin isn't so bad.

The makeup on BD2 for her sucked.  But then, they never got the vampire makeup right.

I agree, she was much prettier in the first film than she was in the last ones, because she wasn't so thin. And the makeup sucked, but at least they were able to use her real hair, and not one of those awful wigs!

Movies here are are $9 for a regular adult $11.75 for 3D, 7 and 9.75 for Matinee. So at least $20 for two (and usually my DD wants to go, and that's another 7), and then you add in another 20 for snacks, and most of the time I wait til I can find a decent copy online. The last movie I saw in theaters was last years Hobbit, and I'll probably see this last one in theaters.

I can just  image what happened. During Twilight's press junket/red carpets she complained to a stylist that she hated getting dressed up and the whole 'red carpet Barbie' syndrome and said stylist wrongly advised her that she can go down the 'anti-red carpet, alternative, rock chick' route; because ya' know "you're so awesome and so not like those other  plastic, pretty-pretty, bimbos (read, the ones that don't look constipated), just lose 10 pounds and you could totally play up the alternative, edgy (read, sneery), might be on something, when did she last have a wash, I-don't-give-a shit-so totally-over-it, actress vibe." So in came the dark eye-make and pale, anaemic, skinny looking limbs encased in rather ill fitting garments and out went anything that smacked of 'pretty'. I think she's over it now though, lately she's been looking much better and a lot happier..The odd pizza will do that for ya'  :D

I live in NYC, a movie ticket depending on where you go can be from $10 to almost $20.
I guess I won't complain about $6.50-10.00 ever again.

A couple of years ago, I was visiting family in Vancouver, WA and they have one of the fancy movie parlor theaters where they have couches and big comfy seats.  We decided to treat ourselves to the $18.50/person tickets but they overbooked the showing we had tickets for, so we ended up getting a refund and getting tickets to the show the next night for free.  But that isn't something we would do regularly.

That's just...not her...I don't know what kind of photoshop they used (especially around the mouth and chin) but she looks so 'soft focus' she doesn't look real...

I personally think she looks better as a blonde..

NB: You know what I've just noticed? This chick doesn't have brown eyes!

IMO I think she looks better with her long brunette locks and I am pretty sure her eyes are green. I remember reading something about them having trouble with the brown contacts that she had to wear in that her natural green kept coming through.

After reading all the replies on what we're charged to see a movie at the cinema, it's no surprise that the film industry has major piracy problems.  >:( >:(

I remember reading that as well hun, I also remember from the commentary on Twilight Kristen and Catherine mentioned about the scene where Bella had been bit my James and was doing her weird "fit" thing that if you look closely enough that you can see her that her contacts have moved and you can see her normal eye colour.
I've actually been sad enough to sit right in front of the TV and you can see that the contacts have moved slightly so it kind of looks like she has multi-coloured eyes.  :P

I don't think I've ever looked at a book-movie thing and cared about someone's eye color, unless it's a big deal like the Cullens and their red/bronze/black eyes. Their eye color was a huge part of their characterization. I probably wouldn't have looked close enough to see if Bella's eyes were wrong, until BD when they were supposed to be red. Hair color, physical size, yes, but eyes, no.  Did the guy who played Draco Malfoy have grey eyes in the movies? Does Radcliffe have green eyes? He doesn't have black hair, he has brown hair.

Err? Bella's 'chocolate orbs' were made a big deal of in the book, film and forever more in FF...so here's the thing with all the actors in Hollywood why did they have such a hard time casting actors with the right physical characteristics for the parts? Don't even get me started on Nicky Reed!....I can only assume it was budgetary, right? I remember RP mentioning just after Twilight exploded that now they had a bigger budget they could cast Zac Efron  :P :D

Eyes/hair colour don't normally bother me but the cast theirselves mentioned it and me being the sad bugger that I am had to check and see if they were right.  ^-^ ^-^ :D :D

I'm still having nightmares about all their wigs, it was truly a monumental feat how they managed to have so many bad wigs in just 5 films.  :D :D
Lol, I could never imagine Zac as Edward but it would of been hilarious if he was cast as him.  :P :P

I had to talk the best gay down from the ledge when she lost he was gutted, though I didn't watch it from what I've heard from her she was the better singer out of her and Ben.

But he kind of had to do the same for me a bit earlier when Jake got voted of Strictly.
If it was any of the others I wouldn't of been that bothered as I would be seeing them on the tour next month but Jake's not going to be on it.

If I remember right, Nikki Reed bleached her hair for the first film, then refused to do it for the rest, because it damaged her hair. They recasted Victoria, they should have re-casted her, too, if she didn't want to keep her commitment. I still find it hard to believe they couldn't find a single blonde actress (natural, or otherwise) to play Rose.

I know the chocolate orbs thing has been done to death in fic, but I really don't remember how big a deal was made out of it in the books. Weren't they written from Bella's POV? So she talked about her own chocolate orbs?lol!

It's like how in Teen Wolf, I think Stiles called Derek Sour Wolf once or twice, but it's in pretty much every single fic, with some variation on the name in non-wolf AU fics. :)
