Lol, I know what you mean hun. I still don't think I'll pay to watch it though.  ;) :P :P
The only ways I'd pay to watch it is if someone else bought a ticket for me or Jamie had kept the beard.  :D :D

You won't have long to wait hun as it finishes next week and I swear this season has been better than the 1st.

I'm gonna be an emotional wreck next Thursday when it finishes as you can feel that the end is nigh.   :D :D

But I'm really biased about TF, so much so that I end up having the same semi "argument" with the hubby every week about why I root for Paul (Jamie's Character) and the "argument" always ends up with me promise to visit the hubby in prison but only cos I like the idea of conjugal visits.  ??? ??? :D :D

I read MOTU when it was a WIP so when I got around to watching Twilight I nearly pissed myself laughing as I couldn't stop imagining Rob and Kristen as that Bella and Edward, I just had images of them in the playroom (try explaining that to a cinema full of tween/teens  :D :D).  ;) ;)
Now I don't picture either of them as Christian or Ana, though I think Rob's Dior elevator scene is hotter than Jamie and Dakota's.  ;D

Though tbh I think Drive kind of set the bar (for me) when it comes to elevator kisses - I just love Driver and Irene in that scene, it's lovely and intense.
No fun hun, I'm with Mrs F I would of paid to of watched you shaking your "thang".  :P :P ;) ;)

Pay to watch a film? What that then? [emoji12][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Oh Good. Whatever Paul is doing in this season of TF I just hope he doesn't get caught!

I have all these TV dramas set up to watch over the Christmas:- Scandal, Good Wife, The Fall, How To Get Away With Murder, Downton Abbey....the list is endless...Food, booze and TV drama the only way to survive the Christmas period

I've not bothered to read MOTU as I'd read FSOG first so I've got it the other way round to you but still, trying to fit Christian and Ana to Rob and Kirsten is.....Yeah, impossible, though I get the attraction to Rob in the elevator, hot kisser for sure.

I'll say it again Dakota simply looks too old...

Loved Driver!

Not only too old, but too bland.  The character had some depth and an innocent  - not a blank look. I'll be honest, I never had KStew in my mind when reading MotU but some Rob traits fit. Jamie is a hunk, but I don't  see him in the role.  As I said, I don't plan to see it in the movies and probably won't watch it when it makes it to cable...I'm just so over that story.

Thankfully I read FSOG before I knew it had anything to do with Twilight or fan fiction so I never had any one person in mind as Christian Grey..... so Jamie works for me, sexy with that slight touch of menace. I don't actually think the book will translate particularly well as a film and it's likely to be 80% crap but Jamie as Grey will make up the other 20%
I'm excited to see the movie!! I've said before, I enjoy book to movie interpretations, some definitely are better than others, but I still love 'em [emoji16]  I love seeing characters come to life!

I'm not sure the chemistry is that great between Dakota & Jamie... She just doesn't fit the part! She's just... Bland! I'll just focus on Jamie, as his character is the main reason I love the story so much anyways [emoji7] [emoji7] [emoji7]

Lol, I pay to watch the odd movie but not often as the cinema is too expensive.  >:( >:(

I'm not gonna say a word about what's happening on TF, but I think the writings on the wall as Allan Cubitt only intended TF to be 12 episodes (even though Gillian Anderson has been telling peeps that there might be a 3rd season) that's why the 1st season ended on a cliffy.

I don't know if Dakota's too old but she's definitely doesn't look anything like most people would of pictured Ana, for me I thought  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login or You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login would of been better choices as they are about the age that Ana's meant to be and both pretty but in an "innocent" way.  :)

Not you as well hun, everyone I know and I mean everyone goes on about Downton Abbey and how I should watch it. In nearly every email or skype session with my family abroad they ask if I'm watching it yet.  :D :D
Have you watched You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login? If not hun you should add that to your list as It was (and I don't call anything this lightly) perfect and unlike anything else on TV atm.

I'm a bit nervous about watching season 2 though as the main characters (different ones to the 1st season) are gonna be played by Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn, both great actors but Woody and Matthew were just perfect in the first season.

I saw the advert last night when I forgot to fast forward (like I normally do), I can't believe Harry would sink so low it's bad enough that he decided to do YBF but SitE that's just scrapping the barrel.  :( :(

Can you believe it! It cost £25 to go to the cinema these days!!! It has to be a huge, blockbuster, 3D, Gravity type film to get me to pay to watch, as those do need a big screen to get the full effect but otherwise my 42' does quite nicely thank you!

I don't how old Dakota is in RL but on screen she looks the same age/experienced a Jamie, there is nothing innocent about her...I half expect HER to tie HIM up! [emoji23][emoji23] You know who I think would work? Who's the actress that Tufano79 uses in her Mafia Princess and Starlet banner? Her.  She'd have made a better Bella so it stands to reason....

I'll add True Detective to my Christmas list [emoji6]

I decided to start watching Criminal Minds again ( thanks to your sig Loop)... Ive not watched it since season 6, got a lot to catch up on.

Who is Harry? And is YBF You've Been Framed? Are they still making that sh!t?! Jesus....

I know it's a rip-off, we used to go to cinema about once a month when the hubby was on Orange for the Orange Wednesday's but now we just don't bother that much even though I can save 40% for one person on O2 but it still adds up to be an expensive night.
I can't watch 3D  (wearing the 3D glasses over my glasses gives me real bed headaches) anyway so none of that bothers me and we've got a 60" TV so that does the job when d/l'ing movies anyway as we just connect the laptop to the TV.  :cheer: :cheer:

Lol, now that's a film I would love to see Jamie tied to the bed even if it was just 2 hours of him naked and doing nothing but sleeping.  :P :P  :D :D
I know Tufano79 has used Kat Dennings a few times for banners, I love that woman she reminds me of my cousin from Kansas.  :D

I love that my power of persuasion for what to watch on TV might be working.  >:D >:D
Sky repeats loads of seasons of CM and I still watch them even if I've already watched them a couple times already, oh and Jennifer Love Hewitt joined the cast in the lastest season (10)  ;D

Harry as in Harry Hill as he's the new host of Stars.
Yeah, they're still making You've Been Framed as far as I know it's repeated on ITV2 all the time and I know this cos the daughter and her B/F love it.  :pulling :pulling

WTF?! I just stuck Kat Dennings into Google images and is that the same girl that's on the Mafia Princess banner?! I take it back...that's no innocent, that is one hot tamale! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

At least then when she becomes a vamp we wouldn't all have had to cross our fingers behind our backs while pretending that she was beautiful  :o

So she CAN look that glam, but the hair and makeup people on those movies sucked. Then again, we knew that, most of the hair in these movies was awful. I liked Alice's in the second movie (I always forget which was second, New Moon, or Eclipse?), and that's about it.

That's just...not her...I don't know what kind of photoshop they used (especially around the mouth and chin) but she looks so 'soft focus' she doesn't look real...

When we went to see Interstellar it was the most expensive movie we had seen.  The ticket prices were actually reasonable, but when you add in the cost of the babysitter, and the taxi ride home (since it finished after the subway stopped running) and the taxi for the babysitter, it was a very expensive, but enjoyable evening.  Its a good thing we will be with family for Christmas so we won't have the babysitter cost when we go see the last Hobbit movie (yes the second was worse than the first but that is a movie that needs to be seen on the big screen.)

OMG! that's crazy expensive! Here, it costs P250 in a nice movie house (reserved seats) or equivalent to about £3.57. Well, considering the minimum daily wage here is P466, it is still expensive. Which is why pirated movies are rampant here. At P30/dvd, it is a steal  ;D

If you factor in the cost of parking and eating out, it becomes really expensive. But that's still cheaper than going shopping or going to those arcades. Thank god my kids are past that age of playing those video arcade games. That was a money pit!

How much is it to watch a movie in the US now? Last time i watched in a theather there was in 2001. It cost $10/head. Good thing my 2 yr old was free so she went with us and we didn't have to find a babysitter.

demaris - let me know what you think of Jennifer Love Hewitt on CM this season.   I've only seen it maybe 3 times so far this season - a little CM serial killer goes a long way - it depends on how badly I want to be freaked out although I do love the show. Jennifer hasn't grown on me yet - but considering I haven't watched it much yet - that's probably my fault.

You've got that right! I'm now on season 7 ( Last CM I saw before yesterday was season 6, Ep. 17 whenever that season was airing..) I'm not sure how long it'll take to catch up to season 10 but it might be a while.... :P

Sorry I should clarify that that is the average price for two people in a local cinema if you go into the West End then it can cost £10 more, and forget iMax! ...and that is before you start adding popcorn, drinks or a hotdog (which I can never see a film without)
