If SM was smart, she would finish and release Edwards POV of Twilight. That would probably breath a bit of new life into the franchise.
I think we'll all be knocking on the door by time she decides to finish Midnight Sun.  >:( >:( :D

Who are you calling old???? Lol...Our age group, 6/7 yrs ago certainly was not her target age group...but look how we were hauled in.....and still captivated with Twific.
Wishful thinking Demaris.....plenty of us out there willing to be led to the slaughter. I'll sip that koolaid. I know, I'm Delusional  that's what everyone says about my Twi calendar at work....haters
:D :D :D :D

I love that you've got your calendar at work, at least it gives you something interesting to look at hun.  ;)

It's weird as I only really got into Twilight through reading them with my daughter before she went to bed as she was about 8/9 yrs old at the time and bored of most other books at the time.

I'm pretty sure neither of us were the intended audience as we were both too "old" or too "young".
So I blame her for me getting into the whole Twiworld addiction.  :D :D

My hubby was the one that saw a trailer for first Twilight movie and we are both into vampires, so we bought it and watched. I found out that it was based on the books by SM, so I went and bought them. It didn't take me long to blow through the first 3 and then I had to wait for book 4.  I have been obsessed ever since.

Loopy, I am glad that you found your way here to us, because lets face it, this site wouldn't be the same without you.

  • Hi! I'm Ellachanted and I'm a fanfic-oholic.
I am way too old for the Twilight demographic on most days.  Somedays, I am a 16 year old girl.  Actually, it seems when I work with this other woman at work, we both are 16 year old girls when we get together. Sigh.  But never mind that.  I'd rather be 16 than the 75 I felt like this morning.  Not that I am either age.  I just go by how I feel.....  :D :D :D :D :D

But I may get the set once BD has been added to it.  It just isn't worth getting the first three as a set and then finding out the next one has all five movies.  Especially since I really never actually watched any of the BD DVD's.  And I'm not sure I watched NM either.  I saw NM in the theater.  Wasn't crazy about it. So I watch it on TV on occasion.  So why pay for a set that I won't even watch?  I have Twilight and Eclipse in my iTunes library if I want to watch them.

So stupid.  And they will probably charge a crazy amount too.....

Tricklem, I do love your pics, especially the first one.  Which makes me laugh.  Because if I saw butt cleavage on just any old guy I would probably be grossed out.  But RP makes it okay.  Even if it isn't really him.   ;D

So, I decided to call my new car Beauty. After Black Beauty. Here is my logic.....Black Beauty=Horse=Mustang=Ford.....Kind of fitting since the new car is black.

I'm loving the 'haters' gif soo funny!

I read it 6 years ago on the beach on holiday with my God-daughter and her mum she was 15 at the time, she picked up all four books (in fact BD was in hardback!) at the airport...I'd run out of reading material 5 days into a ten day trip and started on hers. And at 21 she'd rather stab herself in the eye than admit she even read the blinking books! Or saw a film....

It is so weird/unbelievable to think that it's been almost 10 years since Twilight was published and almost 7 since Breaking Dawn!  What the hell is SM doing with her time? Cos she sure isn't publishing books...But actually when I think of it, if I'd made as much money as her I'd sit on my arse and enjoy it too.  :P

Actually, I will probably wait and see if they make changes to BD1&2 and repackage it yet again and then buy it. I am not going to keep buying all of these releases. That is just ridiculous.

If SM was smart, she would finish and release Edwards POV of Twilight. That would probably breath a bit of new life into the franchise.

AGREED!!!!!! [emoji16]

I hate to be the one to break it to everybody but picture #1's butt is a really good facsimile of Rob's actual butt.  I take it at least some of you never saw the pics taken by the paps when BD was filming in Brazil.   Everybody on Twilighted in the Other forum was going hysterical one day over a pic - it was taking my laptop forever to download it and I couldn't figure out what had everybody going crazy - until the pic actually downloaded.   Kristen had pulled down the back of his bathing trunks(in between filming scenes - she was riding piggy back on his back).  His rear end was/is absolutely gorgeous.   Count me among the hordes who wish SM would finish Midnight Sun.   When you come right down to it - the 15 year olds have not been the ones keeping the franchise going - when I started reading it - everybody my age was going nuts over the books - and none of them was under the age of 20 - we were and still are all over the age of 35.   Everybody I conversed with on Twilighted was over the age of 35, almost everybody here is over 35.  There aren't and weren't enough 15 year old girls alive who helped make the movies successful - the adults were and are the driving force despite what critics, reviewers, etc. seem to think.  Rob's career is still alive and well - ain't no 15 year olds involved - much - the movies lately have all been rated R - as in no one under the age of 17 or 18 can get in - of course a lot of us can't get in either because the movies aren't showing up in our areas of the country.

I've still managed not to watch a single episode.  :cheer: :cheer:
I do manage to follow what's happening though through Gogglebox.  :D :D
Gotta admit hun that Fleur is great, I reckon she'll win by what I've heard from everyone I know who watches it.

Lizzy made it to the judges houses and then Simon didn't choose her, I read in one of the papers that she reckons that she could of done better but was suffering from "laryngitis".  :o ;D ;D

Offline ruthhazelton

Simon sent Lizzie packing.   It came down to her or someone else and he went with the other person.  There was a wild card position that she might have qualified for but since nobody on Robsessed or Robert Pattinson Life has mentioned anything since Simon sent her packing, I would say she lost out/never came back/got chosen for a wild card position.  Rob never went to England to support her if she did come back - he's been following twigs all over hell and back no sister in sight.

I bought the books as they came out for my daughter, who was part of the intended audience at the time.  She turns 21 in January.  By the time the New Moon movie came out, she was over it.  But, as part of my 'keeping an eye on what my daughter is into' duty, I watched the first movie on DVD, then read the book.  Then spent the entire summer reading all the books and rereading the books...and then stalking RP fansites...and discovering fanfiction...and here I still am.

Mine too. But Twilight was my favorite of the movies. It seemed closest to the book.

Though I do like the fight between Rob and Victoria. Which then makes me remember when they got an award for the fight scene and Dallas apologized for making him have to bite off her head  and he says yes and now you're pregnant like it had something to do with the fight. LOL!  His comments always made me laugh. I don't think they ever came out the way he wanted them to.   :D :D :D

I watched the first episode and now last week's and yes simply because a friend of mine mentioned that someone on X Factor performed my go-to-song of the moment (love that Bruno Mars song, if it comes on while I'm outside I practically dance down the street!) so I wanted to see wassup...

I know ffg - who knew any of us would still be here 5 years later - or longer for you.  I hate to tell you how many times I read the books and how often I stalk Rob (although the sites I now go to have gone down in number).   I've cut down on my fanfic reading but I haven't abandoned it completely either - and I'm still keeping track of what fics leave on Twilighted and post on my thread over there.   One would think I might have gotten sick of it by now but evidently  not.
