It is so sad to hear about Just4ale. She was too young And her stories were really good.

Ovarian cancer is a quiet killer. My mother was somewhat lucky in that she discovered it early and they think they caught it all. Though the chemo was not fun. And at 85, if it comes back, she's okay with it. You have to die from something eventually. But then my mother is like that.

But normally? It doesn't really show up on tests and most only discover it when it metastasizes to another organ. Then it is too late. So if you are done having kids and your doctor offers to remove them? Yeah, go for it. The surgery is not that bad

That is soooo sad about Just4ale

It's heartbreaking

And Ella, I'm sorry that your mother had to go through this. Cancer, any type, is terrifying to me. I watched my grandmother battle breast cancer and then bone cancer and it was brutal

I'm a bit OCD so here's what I do lol

I use my ffn account to keep track of all of my WIPs. As soon as they are marked complete, I flag it and put it in my dropbox acct. I also add each completed fic to my calibre library b/c I like to use tags with what kind of -ward and the genre of the fic.

I also have a google doc that I have all of my titles with the author and summaries in. So when I'm on the prowl for something new I can read the summaries and pick from that. Both the google drive and dropbox have apps so that makes all kinds of awesome with everything automatically syncing up.

I also back everything up to flashdrives. And maybe a couple other clouds (sugar sync, box, cubby, etc).

Do you know of any other online backup places that work with calibre besides drop box? I use drop box for my main library, but it's almost full, so I haven't put any of my fics in it. I'd like to find something else that works like drop box.

I'm sorry it happened to your grandmother as well. My mother's mother also died of cancer when I was a kid, though living in Canada, I hardly knew her.

It will be great when they finally come up with a cure for it.

I have google drive, dropbox and sugarsync. But read the privacy stuff. I don't worry about things like fanfiction because I don't own it, but I don't know if I would put any personal stuff on those shared drives without putting some kind of encryption on them.

There are a number of others. Most only give you 2 to 5 GBs free.

Thank you! It just seems so prevalent that it's scary. And I think watching my grandma deal with all of it has kinda scarred me, it was def'y not a good experience .

Haha! It can get a bit tedious although I've got a pretty good system so far. I do a little bit here and there and it doesn't seem to take forever.

But you're right, I don't save everything, only what I def'y want to read and complete. I think I only have around 1700 fics saved so far and I've been doing this from the beginning so it's alright. Adding things to calibre seems to help as there's usually a summary that flag pulls for epub so I can just copy that for my doc. Sigh. Idk. I'm so a.n.a.l and ocd it's crazy.

Like Ella said, I have google drive, dropbox and sugar sync. I also have cubby and a box acct, though box is my least fav since you have to upload each fic and I prefer that they automatically sync. Idk about it working with calibre like you mentioned though?

My fav cloud is dropbox but i'm getting close to filling it so I'll be moving everything at that point. I can't handle everything split up lol.

Bella is alice best friend..Edward is Alice's elder borther..I think he is lawyer.Bella & edward have contract marriage.I dont know edward's reason but bella wanted money for her collage. noone know about this contract not even alice.I think both EB decide to pretend as happy married couple in front of people but have friendly relationship in house..But they end up having friend with benefit kind of. I havent read entire story but last i read alice -jasper at edward-bella house for dinner and alice lashed out at bella that how everyone in her family talk behind bella-edward got married so fast and something & edward reveal to bella later that alice is bipolar..There is no romantic relationship develop between EB so far.I think its still WIP story so it should be on fanfiction..But i cant remmember name..

DAMN, i hate it when some of fic grab my attenation but are still in WIP & there is no hope that author will complete it.

I have like 5-6 fic in my list but some author disappear or some author update like 1 chapter in 4-5 months.There is no way i am gonna touch this fic until its finish.
