Question: Does anyone here have the calibre library app for their droid? I'm thinking of getting it so I can do away with my summary doc (b/c that's a total PITA) but was kinda curious if anyone has it and what they think of it?

Which are you looking at?  I see a free one and one that costs $2.99.  I don't want to pay money if it doesn't work.  Otherwise I wouldn't mind it.  Though maybe more on my tablet than on my phone.

I actually see two different ones that are 2.99 each, Calibre Companion and Calibre Library. What's the name of the one you see for free?

Another question: I added a column for read in my calibre (thanks RDMickey for the idea ) But I'm not seeing how I can add the checkmarks in the column? What am I missing?

I've posted this on our other "recommendation" thread as well but just incase we are not all following it maybe I can get some valuable suggestions here too? 

OK I really want some input from you all on this, pretty please! I'm wondering, how you lovelies are saving/archiving your stories. I ask because I have a bunch of completed fic saved as "favorites" at FF.Net and a bunch of completed/pulled fics on my computer/iPad (these tend to the same just iPad makes for easier reading etc) Only problem is I can't ever seem to remember what is where, I saw a rec for My Mate by PrincessRachael and thought "Hmmm? Do I have that?" Took me over 20 minutes to find it in FF Favorites    I'd quite like a more amenable system and wonder what you beauties did (yes I'm kiss up a little, shoot me.) I'm thinking - every thing that's completed, regardless of whether it's pulled or not, should maybe be download and saved and just use FF to track WIP? But what do you guys think/do?

I struggle with this all the time.  I've been trying to get my reading list and archives organized but it takes so long!  I basically keep a Google Spreadsheet and update that when I can.

Make sure when you setup the column it was a yes/no
Then all you have to do is click in that column and pick which drop down you want.

It was so sad to hear about Just4ALE 

We are going to miss her, but now she gets to write and live in her fanfic worlds she comes up with.

And my prayers are with the family and friends. I know what it is to lose a family member to cancer. But I know that my grandfather is in a better place and finally at peace.

Ella hope that your mum keeps fighting it so it doesn't return. Every day is a battle won for those who have this disease;  just keep the faith.  One day they will find the cure
