Agree, he might be good looking but he's no Fifty. My friends and I are rooting for Ian Somerhalder.
We have no final candidate for Anastasia.

I have no plan on seeing this movie. I couldn't finish the fic so I won't be dishing out money for this. I do think that Colin Farrel would be most awesome as Fifty... bad boy image who cleans up reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaal nice

For Ana... no clue. But really, the only one we're interested in is Fifty *grins*

I have no plan on seeing this movie. I couldn't finish the fic so I won't be dishing out money for this. I totally agree with you on this about 50 shades. No offense meant to those that loved the fanfiction but the book and fic are the same no difference. It was a badly written fanfic that was about abuse that was sugar coated into a HEA. Plus I didnt get how those of you like it.

I liked EP and the Perfect wife, I guess we all have are limits. I just didn't care for it and don't get why they are so passionate about it.

I will agree the writing is not so great. But I liked the damaged Edward being saved by the surprisingly strong Bella. When you read it, it seems like Fifty has all the power, but really Bella does. And she uses it in such a way to get him to want to change. I actually am not into the BDSM stuff so much, but there were some sweet lemons too.

I was also surprised that it wasn't edited a little better. But then I don't think TWCS has that ability, not like a big publishing house.

I read it as WIP... if anyone is going to read about Doms and the lifestyle, they should go with The Submissive and The Dominant. I loved The Perfect Wife. If I ever hear or read "my inner goddess" again, I may hurt someone. JS

call me crazy but I'm ok with rape, abused, brainwashed, taboo, gay turned straight, pretend ,cheating ( as long as they're cheating with each other lol )etc.... it's quite refreshing and I don't take it too srsly

someone recommend wisp by Cris/judo_lin here....I'm hooked <3 it reminds me of the vampire in the basement,The Unaccompanied Soul

Sounds like I'm in minority on the board who enjoyed MoTU but in saying that, it's FICTION *gasp*. I read it as a WIP as well but would have to agree that Tarasueme's trilogy was definately a better read. I haven't read The Perfect Wife and I'm not sure I will...(my inner goddess won't allow it) who said that? *looks around*

I read MoTU because I enjoyed her Safe Haven and enjoyed that.

I'm like you nothing really bothers me I am a horror fan and the crud they come up with in those movies put most fanfics to shame. I have read slash and really good ones too. I just couldn't get into them.

I swear my TBR list gets longer everyday....it will take me forever to get through them but that is assuming that the WIP's don't get abandoned

Agreed! Really awesome thing happening for the book but if you really survey the people that read FIFTY they are mostly "bandwagoners" kinda like Kings Of Leon fans after hearing "Sex On Fire". So, they don't really care if it's awesomely written or not. But who are we to judge? We're Twilight fans (the book atleast).

And honestly, I think Leonardo De Caprio will be PERFECT for the role. Every time I read fics with an older, dominating, arrogant, playboy Edward, Leo is who I see. (",)

It's easier for us to quickly find again. Hum, now that I am thinking about it, How bout the links to the zip files that were posted on the last thread? Just a thought. Don't mind me, I am tired and my brain is starting to shutdown.

I am pretty sure I have you as a friend on fb, but I also remember you at ADF. That was so hard for me to keep up with, the posts, the comments, finding my old comments, etc. LOVE this sooooooooooooooooo much better.

I was at ADF for a while before here and I felt the same way, I just couldn't keep up and find my old posts. I also hated constantly asking people to email me fics, I felt like I was greedy lol. The ladies are way awesome and all so helpful to send anything, I just hated constantly 'putting someone out' like that for every fic. I love it here where someone can just upload and you can download if you want, and of course say you thanks

I'm looking for a story where everyone is human and someone tells the Cullen teens that Bella (who is their friend) is spreading rumors about them. She told that Jasper had been kidnapped when he was younger, but she couldn't have since she didn't know about it. They get mad at her and then later find out it was all lies. I would really like to read this story again.
