Yeah, Ehd is a caveman. Bella comes back in time. They don't actually speak much. It is worth the read and you find out what happens in the end. I definitely recommend it. The names won't bother you too much. I am mostly with you on the Edward & Bella, though really? Yeah Bella is not as big a deal as Edward

Sounds pretty good, any angst in it? I almost never finish fics if there isn't any angst lol

And I agree, Edward is a bigger deal than Bella in the name dept. I just cannot reconcile "Eddie" with Edward. At all.

No heavy angst, but it is quick and sad at the end. Read it after a heavy angst story. Problem is it is Caveward POV so it's hard to say if it's angsty. Though his mind is pretty articulate for a caveman.

No heavy angst, but it is quick and sad at the end. Read it after a heavy angst story. Problem is it is Caveward POV so it's hard to say if it's angsty. Though his mind is pretty articulate for a caveman.

My favorites are Mary Alice, Masen, Skip, Bebella who can forgot those. Also I love angst heavy light I don't care really.

Yep, I have to have my HEA.
Stories by young teens e.g.13 yr olds nope not going to happen........
If the summary states that they "suck" at writing summaries, I will not even attempt at reading that story.......
If Bella starts calling Edward the nickname "love", It makes me cringe.

I agree with "if the summary states that they suck" at writing summaries. Also I've seen a few that say in the summary that the story sucks. Ummmm...why would anyone give it a chance if you don't even believe in it.

I also hate spelling errors in the summary. If you can't spell correctly in a few sentences than the story will be grammatical nightmare. Is proofreading a summary that difficult? Is a beta needed for that too?

I know that homonyms, heterographs and such covered. One of my per peeves is "alot". The word "alot" does not exist it is "a lot". I've also seen allot used instead of a lot. It drives me bonkers.

I can do non-canon couples. I love Bella/Jasper as a couple. I also like Edward/Bella/Jasper menages. I haven't read any Emmet/Bella that I can think of. I will read some Bella/Jacob and Bella/Other Pack Member stories also. I have read Jasper/Edward Slash fiction. I think I've read one femslash fic and it wasn't for me.

I try to keep an open mind for most stories. They either have to be really bad or boring for me to flounce. I've read a lot of cheating and abuse fic's on ffn. Some of them are really good. It's gaping plot holes and mixed up timelines that make me leave.

Another glaring issue was that it was before Bella's birthday, they are at school and commenting on snow falling outside. Two chapters later the girls are sporting bikini's to have a beach birthday party for Bella. *blinks* Wasn't it just snowing last week in September. *blinks*

It's things like that that make me flounce.

5) Surprisingly, this one irks me more than #4: "...popping the p." I hate that phrase so much! Once I even read in a fic

Ahhhh 'chocking' it's a favey of mine. Is that even a word??? Oh yes it is... It's a wedge that you put under a wheel to keep it from rolling. So when Bella chocks on Edwards member *eye roll* she definitely has something wedged in her mouth.

I completely laughed out loud over this and scared the poor dog.

I can usually tell the age of the writer from their reaction. Or maybe it's the mental age. But you are right, if they can't take criticism, they shouldn't ask for it. And I tend to be very careful in my wording of criticism after having a similar type thing happen at work. A co-worker who loves to point out that he has a PhD cannot write and really cannot spell. I once recommended he use spell check prior to sending emails. OMG the #$%#$% that hit me from that. Yeah, I don't say anything to him anymore. The guy is an idiot. Really.

I just read in my local paper that Chatum Tanning wants to be Fifty in the Sahdes of Grey movie *snort* I sooooo don't think so. Lose the baby face and grow a few more inches then you may have a chance. I think this is the funniest thing I've read about this topic in a while

I will agree the writing is not so great. But I liked the damaged Edward being saved by the surprisingly strong Bella. When you read it, it seems like Fifty has all the power, but really Bella does. And she uses it in such a way to get him to want to change. I actually am not into the BDSM stuff so much, but there were some sweet lemons too.

I was also surprised that it wasn't edited a little better. But then I don't think TWCS has that ability, not like a big publishing house.

Didn't Random House pick it up? I know they cleaned up a lot of the mistakes that Jklly12 pointed out. They could have went through and edited it better but left it as is. *shrugs*

I've heard a few rumors of certain actors wanting to play Fifty. Ryan Gosling was another one I heard mentioned.

I love Ryan and he is an amazing actor but as Fifty...?!?

I think I'm going to have a problem no matter who gets chosen to be Fifty. For me, Fifty is Edward and Edward is Rob Pattinson. I know a lot of people didn't like MOTU, but I enjoyed it for what it is, just as I enjoyed Twilight for what it is - not great literature but enjoyable romance. Hollywood is likely to make this movie either too shrill or too violent or both. Not to mention that it's likely to be miscast. I don't think I'll be the first one in the theater to see it.

Hmmm, I agree with the Hollywood spin, however I do have issues with people calling it the New 9 1/2 weeks. Just no! It's not even the same style, and this book has way too many stupid one liners that no actress could pull off. If it's scripted the way it's written there will be a crap load of inner dialogue. I refuse to pay money for this *shakes head* I've said it before, this movie needs to go away.

I just wanted to thank all you lovely people (99% I believe to be women) for all the new skills I have learned. How to download ff, how to use flag, how to convert files to and from various forms and last but not least, today I learned how to upload onto my kindle.

I don't believe I would have attempted any of these (used to copy and paste in word) if I hadn't followed this thread and read all you have written.

I truely can't thank you enough. lol I almost wrote can not but remembered that someone said people don't talk that way.

I do sometimes.
