I just flounced this.  The summary sounded great, something different.  The story has over 2000 reviews so I thought I was in for an enjoyable afternoon's reading.  It just seemed so rushed.  Not at all what I thought from the summary. I skipped to the last page, it finishes on a cliffhanger where Edward has bitten Bella to change her but Carlisle is insisting it hasn't worked and she is dying.  This is because there is a sequel.  Looked at the first page of that and she was already changing and the danger had passed!  No, definitely not going there.

Sounds like that ol Sandra Bullock/Keanu Reeves movie called (I  think) The Mailbox. They are in different times, and communicate via the mailbox at their house.

Ohh you mean the lake house.  I could not get into that movie for some reason..

Yeah, the Lakehouse! I knew Mailbox didn't sound right, but I was rushing out the door and couldn't look it up first!

My most recent flounce, this looks great I actually liked the first chapter, then I read the second one and I had to guess which POV it was.... because it didn't say! but whatever I continued reading.... onto chapter three... NO POV and basically the same thing as chapter two... the same thing just with more details because it was different POV

Although this may be a good fic, I just couldn't get past the no POV thing, and that the first three chapters were the same.

Now that I've stopped laughing, sorry, but it is funny.  I can tell you I hate fics where you get more than one chapter giving you the same story in a different POV.  Why do they think we want to read the same damn thing twice?  I have also read fics where they didn't tell you which POV it was.  Sometimes you can tell by the content, but the last one I tried to read like this I gave up on.

One of the most stupid stories I ever read. Emmett has Down Syndrome and he buys wife for Edward. Of course it's Bella. Sometimes I felt that Edward has Down Syndrome not Emmett. Bella lacks character. What Emmett will say they do it right away. I only read 13 chapters because it's so boring that I didn't want to waste time on it.

I read this as a WIP and I didn't mind it too much. Don't get me wrong, obviously the premise was unrealistic but that's the same with a lot of fics. Maybe it seemed less stupid because I had a waiting period between chapters. Towards the end it got a bit ridiculous. Overall it's a decent fic, I thought.

it makes a big difference if you read some fics as a wip or not.

You can see that the author is not familiar with the topic of Down Syndrome patients and has no idea about the people suffering from this disease. This whole story is unrealistic but that is the case for 90% of the stories.

there is one story about an autistic kid, the writer is a mother of an autistic child.
so that seems to be realistic. Its called because a boy.

I have read this one and it is silly but it’s also kind of sweet.  I can understand why someone would flounce though.

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I have been dragged into the smite wars (curse you, drypen!) and need your help.
