Not sure I can read slash yet where Edward is one of the partners....maybe Carlisle/Jasper? Or even better? Emmett/Jacob!  My other question is are they graphic? Maybe I can deal with fade to black....

I am with you Ella. I am not sure I can do that. I read one that was a one shot by solosintwilight. It just said Edward and it really never said who the partner was. Maybe that is how it tricked me.

Edward was all I could think about. He made it that way, because he knew I couldn't say no. He was my dirty little secret.

I have read some m/f/m that were quite good and well who hasn't thought about that fantasy.  :azn:.

One by TexasBella and the other by SadTomato.

TexasBella has continued it, but it is still a wip. The one shot was good. It is Jasper/Bella/Edward

Original OneshotUninhibited Wallflower

This is the original oneshot which is being expanded into a multi-chapter story. Can be read as a stand alone for a quick lemony fix or you can jump over to UW for the full tale...LEMONS. Poly E/B/J

The other one by SadTomato wasn't really poly, but Carlisle teaches Edward to Dom Bella.

Between Pleasure and Pain

Bella's been keeping her kinky fantasies a secret from her husband, Edward. When he finds out about her dark desires, he turns to Carlisle for guidance. This story is E/B/C- Carlisle is involved as their mentor and participates in scenes. AH, D/s.

Happy Halloween everyone. A few of my edits from last year and my third attempt at a wallpaper. I will just include the links since it will blow up the thread.

I like just about anything, but I've always loved GFY (gay for you), friends to lovers, and enemies to lovers type stories. I'm not so fond of already established relationships, because I miss that buildup.

And I read M/M almost exclusively for several years, so yeah, I think that one would do me nicely, lol!

I'm reading LyricalKris Betwixt and Between... and I'm liking it very much.... Jasper has an accident and when he wakes up of a comma he doesn't remember the last 8 years of his life... if you like the built up you may like this... also it has a cute 7yo Bella.... and the author updates constantly... sometimes twice a week....

We are the sum total of our experiences. Jasper woke up a million miles away from the man he remembered himself to be. His past was forever barred to him, his present a confusing paradox he couldn't accept. He had a choice: try to remember the man they said he was or make his way anew again.

Oh! I love me a good Poly story too. You're so right about the whole fantasy thing  :o. I've read both of those and they are really good.

Uninhibited Wallflower hasn't been updated since July  :( but she did mention that she was near the end, just tying up loose ends. Hope she does finish it one day soon.

Another poly story that is complete however is;

The Trip Home by mskathy

When Bella takes a long overdue trip back to Forks, an unexpected detour helps her find her way home. AU/AH ExBxJ M for adult themes and lemons.

Is a good read. Starts out with established E/J and then Bella gets tossed into the mix.

P.S: That is totally my kinda guy. I'm an OCD freak like that too. When I used to go to the supermarket with mum I'd always twist the cans and stuff so they were all lined up neatly with their labels poking out...Or put the DVDs in those huge bins into alphabetical order  ^-^

Although if we could get packets of sweets for only $.98 I'd be in a perpetual state of complete hyperactivity, which along with my ADHD may prevent such things occurring.

I think it is basically finished and just not marked as complete. This is from the a/n from Chap 17:

I always thought I would write several more chapters, but I wrote this today and realized this is the end. I could tell this story for the rest of my life and probably still have dramatic moments they could live through. The essential message would be the same, as would their reactions, and the way this family functions. The Trip Home was the first fanfic I ever wrote, and these characters hold such a deep and special place in my heart. I cannot tell you how much I cried today, realizing this story had reached a natural ending point.

Chap 18 is a JPOV futuretake.

AU-human: Edward, Bella and Jake are juniors in Forks. Very NC-17 with Edward and Jake both bi, but not PWP - there's plot, angst, humor and romance as these messed-up kids figure out their three-way relationship. You'll like Jake here - trust me!

It's an oldy and it's been a while since I read it, but I have it saved in my Read list, so I must have liked it!

Somehow I missed an update this morning and just realized it.  But only 2 pages on this site.  ;)

Ok so all in one comments. Not sure I can read slash yet where Edward is one of the partners....maybe Carlisle/Jasper? Or even better? Emmett/Jacob!  My other question is are they graphic? Maybe I can deal with fade to black....

I'm hoping RPattz will do a better job than Brad Pitt.

I like the idea of putting it in word to correct the spelling & grammar, but can you do a mass correction?  I think I'd rather ignore the errors. If I can LOL! ;D :D

I've not read any Emmett/Jacob but once I hand this essay in I just may go scope that out! A lot of the time though the fics with Jake and any of the Vampire boys revolve around him imprinting and there's something about it that doesn't work for me...

As for graphic, yes, most of them are pretty graphic, or at least they aren't 'fade-to-black', so if you're a tad on the squeamish side when it comes to a bit of man on man lovin' then I don't know if they're for you...

You can do mass corrections in Word, use the 'find and replace' tool. I mostly go through and correct as I read, it's rather cathartic and helps get me through them; I am more likely to give a story the flick if I'm doing this though. If it's good enough, once I'm done I'll put it back on the list and read it again later without all the grammar-rage inducing errors.

It's so not fair! By the time I get online in the UK all the fun has stopped!

Anyway in one catch-up post

The good news, I have finished The Ex-Factor! YEAH!!! Thanks sweet baby Jesus! Would I recommend it? No. And let me quantify this. It is 1000 pages too long, 2415 pages. The author doesn't have the writing chomps to carry that kind of lengthy tale, her narrative and dialogue aren't strong enough. There was a weird mixture of writing styles, sometime it read as if a 12 year old has written it and at other as if an 50 year old had. The spelling and grammatical error drove me totally crazy, as my previous posts will testify. Towards the end of the story I think the author might have found God because he started featuring quite a bit, when he'd never been mentioned before.  The story had great potential and the premise is fantastic but unfortunately I don't think this author is a good enough writer to bring it to fruition.

I stand with Ella on the Edward slash discussion, I tried to read Macfearless by TeamBella23 (because she walks on water as far as I'm concerned and I thought if there is one author who'll be able to convert me then....) but when I got to the graphic lemons I threw-up in my mouth a little bit, sorry! I flounced so quickly by iPad almost caught fire. Then I stumbled onto Trip Home as a one-shot and the opening scene? Yeah, read it hiding behind my fingers until Bella joined the story, and even then it still took some doing to keep me there, I don't think I'd ever be able to read the multi-chapter story. Edward performing lemony moves on Jasper *shudder* It must be my convent upbringing  :D Though somehow it doesn't stop me thinking I might enjoy Emmet/Jacob so anyone who finds such a story please pass it on...

Howdy everyone, I hope we all had a safe and happy Halloween, and that those in Sandy's path are safe and well.

I'm finally reading Running by Merina Green. It's different from anything I've read so far, but it's very good. I'm not too far in yet, Jasper is still looking for Bella, swimming in the ocean. This one seems to have lots more outside plot, beyond just the falling in love, the evil exes, or Victoria as foils. I have LOTS of questions already. :) Thanks to everyone who recommended it to me.

I was reading 1 of fic form the list which was rec'ed in other thread.

I am very close to flounce this fic.I feel like  :pulling . I am interested in HS fic right now so i thought it will be good idea to try that fic despite of  hardly 600 reviews. Story is very similar to film walk to remember minus [all cancer, sick main lead , death]. Its just HS drama fic..But everything is so immuture & out of place. Alice is officially most annoying chracter of twific for me.. :021: She  dont know  bella that much, & Buy her expensive cocktail dress. WTF??? Bella actually accept it.. :o Even if my best friend  force me to gift me expensive dress without any occasion i would protest. & than She go to bella's house & force her to  dress up & attend party...Arghhh who the hell bring huge suitcase just to dress up someone for small satuardy party.. :wtf: oh & oh nerdy bella  who never had any friends & wear glasses  suddenly doll up in tight jeans & attend party & drink.Whatever  :33:

I seriously  want to read some good HS fic without this cliche unrealistic nonsense.
I will give 1 more try to this fic & than I guess i have to re-read from my fav fic list.  :(

I don't think I have ever find a realistic HS fanfic. But there is fiction and then there is "No-freaking-way-that-happened"...  :D

I think the last one I (tried to) read was Breaking Trinity. Not my thing after all... :P

Quick question: How long do you let pass before declaring a fic incomplete instead of WIP?
